It’s been 3 time I give this place a try because I love the taste of the food but I have to be really really HONEST the last 2 TIMES I FIND PEBBLE LIKE ROCKS IN THE FOOD. AND WHEN I ate some of THE MEAT I BROKE A TOOTH this time. I wanted to see why so I went to my sink and started to rinse out the egusi soup with my fingers and I found it that the rocks are all in the green leafy vegetables thats where they get stuck they have to take the time to clean the vegetables and everything correctly … im very sad because

Homemade food at its finest and best! This was the first time my daughter and I have tried Nigerian food. We are so happy our first time was with Tonge’s Taste! We ordered a chicken and rice dish and the Egusi soup with fufu. The food was full of flavor and delicious. Portion size was right on as well. Don’t hesitate to purchase food from her. She’s so friendly and amazing!! Thank you so much and we’ll be back!

Pulled up to the address… just find out it’s someone’s residence. I was confused! On here (google) it has the option to reserve a table, as if, it’s a restaurant. Then, it’s about a 45 minute wait depending on what you order… I guess I was supposed to wait in my car… after I drove an hour and a half just to get the “restaurant”?! No thank you.

Very tasty African food. I order the egusi with pounded yam, that’s one of my favorite Nigerian dishes. The price is a bit high but not terrible for what you get. I’m always able to have half for one meal and the other half for the next meal, so I feel like the food you get is fine for the price.

I ordered the okra soup, but when I opened my food I realized that it was egusi soup. I was very hesitant because I tried egusi at a place in Moreno Valley and it was not very good. I wanted to turn around and take it back because it was not what I ordered but I had already driven quite the distance to pick up my order and it was far to late to turn around. So I decided to keep and and try it, and boy I’m so glad I did!! It was very tasty!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. My husband who is a very picky eater also enjoyed it. 10 out of 10 would recommend!! It was well worth the drive!!
