Many things to say about this wonderful place. Oh the options and portions! They have a wonderfully eclectic mix of options that all tickle my fancy and the food is as good as the descriptions would suggest. Right before o was about to complain to myself about the pricesi looked over and saw the more than generous helping of what was to come. Any complaints or criticisms that i may even lobby which was immediately stifled Was that upon entry the owner seemed somewhat unwelcoming but after seeing the issue and how it was addressed with care and then his warm follow up from our departure I’ll definitely consider that s situational misunderstanding on my part!

The Gondolier is one of my family’s favourite places to stop for dinner – their pizza is both excellent and inexpensive. The staff is consistently super friend and fun to talk with, and their breadsticks are bottomless and absolutely delicious! If you have a chance to stop, it’s every bit worth the time!

I read previous reviews from guests and I say everyone has a bad day now and then. On our visit, a 5 top, we were seated upon entering, although the host was a tad bit gruff. Our order was taken quickly and accurately. The food came sooner than I had expected it to. Everything was correctly made and even more importantly, it tasted very good.

Excellent!!! All the way around. Our server did a fantastic job. The food was great. Everything we ordered was delicious. The bread sticks are out of this world good! Warm and soft. The lobster ravioli was yummy. The crab dip appetizer was reallllly good. Greek salad with the suggested dressing was perfect! We will definitely be back.

Food was amazing, million dollar cake was literally to die for. We got so full took two whole boxes home.. had to take an afternoon nap. Maddie was our server shout out to her, even though they were busy all the staff handled it with a sense of pride and dedication to their loyal patrons and newbies like me. Anytime im here in the Greenville I WILL BE BACK! If your reading this review do yourself a favor and just go. U will not be disappointed

We moved here 10 years ago from the land of really good Italian food. Why it took us so long to eat at Gondolier Italian restaurant is sad. I’ve been missing out on the BEST meatballs!! Their sause is excellent too! My husband got their chicken parmesan and also agreed we will be back! You’ll never find crispy Italian bread down here, but at least we found a really good Italian restaurant! If you like Italian food, you will not be disappointed in the Gondolier!
