Closest to Philly cheesesteak in OH! Soft chewy roll was amazing. Chili cheese fries were delicious and had plenty to share. Will try the firesteak next time.

I’m from Pennsylvania and have had a number of “Philly” cuisines. The sandwiches are good, but the size to price is a bit pricey. The French fries were cold and the chicken fingers were either slightly burnt of the oil was no good. Also the chicken fingers just dont taste good and have alot of filling to bond the breading to the chicken which tastes awful. The garlic honey wasn’t any garlic honey I’ve ever had before. It tasted like soy sauce with honey. The honey mustard was okay. The cheese was processed squeeze cheese. It’s not a bad place, I doubt we’ll go back. We are new to the area and will explore other options.

We have enjoyed ordering and eating at Mr. Spots over the years, until today(August14, 2023) My step daughter from Michigan told us the the 1986 deal, so we thought it would be a great deal for lunch. At 11:00 we called in an order and was told it would be an hour, which was no big deal because of the deal we knew they would be behind. Little did we know our food still was not even started at 2:45 yet, so we canceled the order. This is very disappointing, of somewhere we enjoyed ordering food, I guess the deal was not really a deal, when lunch was ordered at 11:00 but not started at 2:45 yet this is upsetting.

The best Philly Steak sandwich in NW Ohio. It sets the bar for me! I compare every Philly hoagie with the greatness that Mr. Spots provides. A must try if you’re in Bowling Green. And, get the fries!!!

Many good memories here from BGSU. Pretty decent wings and reasonably fast service. Went for the garlic wings and chili . Chili was meh but the wings are pretty solid. Overall a nice place to hit up after hitting up Braughthouse, and City Tap

This place has been making delicious hoagie sandwiches for over fifteen years. They offer tasty waffle fries as a side option. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the mood for a hot sandwich.

I had to lower my rating from5 stars to 3. The food is still really good, and the service/atmosphere is solid, but the prices are just getting insane here. I bought a 12 oz boneless and a side of fries, and it cost me more than $22 with the $1.00 tip I left. I can’t agree with paying this much for someone to cook my food. I can get chicken breasts for 3.99 a lb (sometimes even way cheaper), and a 5 lb bag of potatoes for $5. For around $5, I could have 16 oz of chunks (4 oz more), and take one of those $.50 potatoes out of my 5 lb bag, and have a meal just as good. Plus, I can get an entire bottle of ranch for about $.30 more than what they charge for a side of it.

I’ve been to Philadelphia and if you’ve ever had a real Philly cheese steak from Philadelphia then you know how disappointing it is to try and find anything close!
