I would give this place a solid 4.3 stars because it has a lot of potential. I recently visited and tried their taco special, which had its ups and downs. Let’s break it down.

I went there expecting good BBQ. I was disappointed. Serving size is unacceptable. Quality of the food: brisket was dry and lacked flavor. Potato salad dry. Cole slaw unappealing. Price to value not met at all. 1st and last visit.

This hidden treasure in San Angelo is A Must HAVE!! I ordered the Boss and it was Amazing. BBQ style and flavor was so unique that it stands in a class of its own. Super friendly staff and Loved dinning in at there Newly remodeled Location. Definitely taking family and friends to support this Amazing business.

I had a pick up order. Brisket was dry corn was tasty. The gentleman was nice. Service was ok but they just looked unhappy. No silverware or napkins were placed in my bag so had to find some back at work. Beautiful inside though. I will give it another try.

We’ve eaten here several times before, but this was the first time inside the new building! Love the look & the feel. The food was amazing & employees were so nice. Definitely recommend, exactly what we were wanting & exceeded our expectations! The jalapeño cream corn is a must try.

Staff seems like they really don’t want to be there. Had to give my order 3 times for the guy to get it. Girl at cash register seemed like she had better things to do. Asked me if I needed utensils but didn’t put them in my order. The taste of the meat is flavorful but it was a little disappointing to get a very dry potato with a small scoop of meat and hot dog sized sausage for $18.

I got brisket and 2 slices of ribs. The brisket was not juicy and it was still tough. The ribs had great flavor but a little dried out. I was truly looking forward to some good barbecue. But with a few tweaks it can do best.

The food isn’t really worth the price in my opinion. The chopped brisket comes without sauce- its dry and chopped so finely it’s impossible to keep it on the bun. The bbq is on the table but the sauce to meat ratio is hard to achieve by adding the sauce on top. Overall the rest of the food isn’t even noteworthy enough to mention. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice but there is much better bbq in town.

This place is clean and new building, really well-run by some super nice folks. However, we were unimpressed with their bbq. The $20 beef rib was disappointing, and the turkey and sausage were dry. Brisket was pretty decent. Chicken was good and a good price. Potato salad and beans were good. Texas sets the bar high for bbq and they’re right at it.
