This place really should get at least 3.5 stars. Not fancy at all, but I got a great loaded (lettuce, tomato, cheese, steak, hot sauce, avocado, sour cream) crispy taco and a bottle of Poland Spring water for 5 bucks even. In 2022. Beat that. And the lady was a sweetheart.

Taconazo has the best tacos in Rhode Island hands down! The lady here puts in love into her cooking and you can taste that! From the freshness of all the ingredients to the hand made tortillas to the delicious deserts! Everything you order here will knock your socks off FOR SURE! I’ve had this place bookmarked forever and finally got to try it. Wow! I’m totally in love. Definitely my new favorite spot for tacos. So it’s for take out, as it’s a small storefront. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and the portions are generous. I tried a few types of tacos and vegetarian nachos…the best of each I’ve ever tasted. Everything was prepared to order. The owner/chef is gracious, kind and friendly. The prices are great. I can’t wait to return.

You have got to try their Gorditas!!! Of the meat selections, I’m definitely partial to the al pastor. Tacos are really good too. It’s a tiny hole in the wall and you’d better be able to order in a bit of Spanish (the woman who’s always there is really nice but doesn’t speak much English).
