I always make a stop or 2 at D”Elia’s for a grinder anytime I’m in the Riverside area. It’s nice to see that they survived Covid and are continuing to thrive!

I used to eat here 20 years ago. It’s not the same. My husband owns a Sandwich Shop called Phillys in San Bernardino and is by far better. He puts meat in your sandwich. This place gives you toasted bread for a high price. I guess in a way they are smart because they give you a slice or two of meat. Won’t be back for expensive bread! I want a grinder with meat on it!

Food is excellent! Service is always pleasant and friendly. I’ve come here for years for the best grinders I’ve had from anywhere. The bread is so soft inside and crunchy on the outside. So delicious!

I was really disappointed in my recent visit. I’ve never loved D’Elia’s, but My Hero was close, and I didn’t want to drive all the way to Butch’s, so I stopped here, and I don’t know if I’ll ever go back, at least not to this location. The wait for 2 turkey sandwiches was like 20+ minutes, and the sandwiches were poorly made and overpriced. The interior was dirty and smelled like pee, and the tables were all sticky. I’ve had fine experiences at the Woodcrest location, but this one is bad. 2 stars because they used to be better.

I have been to Delia’s since I was little, for many years now, the place, the menu and the service is as I remember. I moved around to other states and every time I go to California I need to stop by and eat a grinder because they are just so yummy and unique, It’s The BREAD y’all!

We are always looking for a good sandwich shop and heard about this place. We drove 45 minutes to give it a try. Overall it was a disappointing experience. The sandwich was not bad it was just meh (so-so). The price for the quality of sandwich was high compared to the competition. I don’t mind that but it better also be better. The bread was ok, there was less meat than even Subway which is lacking as well and not many toppings either. I like to support local places rather than chains but this place needs to do much better to justify their prices. To be clear I am only talking sandwiches as I did not try there other menu options.

This was my first visit. So the jury is still out. I will come back a few more times and try different items from the menu. I will adjust my stars accordingly.
