Edit: one of the best places with the coldest drinks. Frosted. Wednesday night is rib night. IMO, they have the best ribs. We went around 4:30 and it wasn’t busy so service was better. Husband had a turkey club and fries. He didn’t care for the bun and asked for rye bread and he liked it much better.

Cross Country is definitely a stop to make during your travels in the north-woods. Ashley the owner runs a tight ship and cooks up delicious food for all her patrons. An attentive wait staff awaits you in the dinning room. Jeb was our server and took great care of us, he handles stress well. We’ll stop in again soon

Great beer-battered shrimp and Amy loves their broasted chicken. It can get quite busy on the weekends and especially in the summer so expect a possible short wait fur a table and the kitchen can be overwhelmed during those peak times as well. John is always a fun dry-humored bartender and is always enjoyable to talk with.

This place used to be our favourite place to go when visiting when from the UK – but what has happened? The old fashioneds were disgusting, and one of the burgers turned covered in burnt plastic residue, apparently from the grill. The staff did not respond well to polite feedback and challenged us before eventually agreeing to replace the burger. All in all a poor experience.

Very clean and nice environment. So far the food has been amazing here and haven’t been disappointed yet. They also have horseshoe pits and volleyball outside of the place. Whatever recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent bar and restaurant serving up great food and beverages. Staff is very friendly and the food choices are gourmet burgers to dinners along with lots of starters/appetizers to choose from. Highly recommended, we will return whenever we get back to the area. Note to travellers coming from the north, entrance to the parking lot is from Cross Country Road, you may miss it if you are not watching for the turn onto Cross Country Road.
