It’s a pretty good Thai food restaurant only a short walk from the Homewood Suites hotel along a scenic riverbank. I had Yellow Curry w/chicken and Tom Yum soup w/Shrimp. Both delicious.

We had an early dinner here Saturday 7/29/23. Having eaten here many times over the last decade, we have had excellent food and service. This time was deplorable. Never anywhere have we had such a rude waiter. He managed to insult all three in our party: an elderly woman and her two handicapped guests. We were made to fell unwelcome and it created tension in what should have been a pleasant dining experience. Ubon was out of many items, prices had increased, there was an unmentioned $4 up charge for gluten-free, the food tasted very stale, and the men’s room was filthy. Our waiter was so impatient we ate and got out of there ASAP. My guests are still upset at how poorly they were treated. Don’t make the Pandemic an excuse for your problems! If finding and properly training staff is so difficult, I recommend you close your doors and don’t open them until you get your act together.

We were so excited to try this place out and were disappointed! We ordered the green curry and the Huli Huli. The vegetables tasted like they were frozen and not cooked right, it reminded me of an old tv dinner. The Tiki Smash drink was probably one of the worst drinks I ever had. We will not be going back. Ended up going to Iron Hill for a good drink and small appetizer.

Place was recommended by son, my husband and I went in and got sitted right away by young hostess with 2 menus given. Entrance Front door dirty, seats could have been wiped with food and left over items some one left in seats, table greasy. Sat and looked at menu to decide what we would order. After 20 minutes, we realized no one came to acknowledge we were there or let us know we would be right with you. While sitting there another couple came in and was served right away. The hostess and 2 other workers walked by us with no acknowledge at all. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I will not be back to the Restaurant to patronize them and I will let my family and friends know as well.

Nice atmosphere coupled with good food. Waiter was attentive and ensured we were taken care of. A walk along the river is a great way to unwind after eating as well! Drunken noodles comes highly recommended!

Ubon is our favorite go-to Thai restaurant! It has an amazing ambience and food. The patio seating is right off of the river walk. We like our food spicy so we usually go for Level 4 spicy (trust me, it’s at a different level). Some of our favorite drinks are Ubon Brew and Coconut Water (this is Long island iced tea with coconut water)

I was a single diner. While I was seated promptly, I was ignored by the staff persons. Both (there were two) walked by me but neither acknowledged my presence. I left after each of the servers took care of parties that were seated after me. Single diners are commonly treated poorly, which is shameful as you have no idea who they are or how they could bring future business to an establishment. As for me, I coordinate/host dinners for visiting customers from my parent company in China. Sometimes I have the gatherings catered, sometimes I will reserve space at the restaurant. It is a shame. I was looking forward to sampling the food. But because of your poor/lack of service, I can guarantee that I will not be using/recommending your facility.

My first time there and it was recommended by a friend. I had the Low Pow Mein and it was delicious. The heat/spiciness was just right. My friends enjoyed their dishes too, Drunkin’ Noodles and Pad Thai. Service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant for yummy Thai food. I look forward to returning.

Okay so some of the reviews say the food took too long or it was dirty. I didnt experience that personally. Our server was also really sweet. But if they put half as much effort into the vibe as they did their food, my review would be much better. Plus stay away if you’re vegan. They do accommodate for vegans and use vegan broth in their dishes but prepared to pay an extra $4 for that. I have never in all the times ive eaten at a thai restaurant been charged for vegan broth. Or something equivalent which shouldn’t cost $4 extra. Both my husband and i got the huli huli and the drunken noodles veganized and were charged $4 each. And the food itself was very average. Not something I would come back for again. Lacking flavor and we didn’t finish it all. If it wasnt for the $4 extra charge, this review would be a 3/5 based on the food. That extra charge really made the whole experience so much worse.
