After a tour of Gates of the Mountains with our crew we needed a place to eat. Looked up this place and we are all glad we did. My double cheeseburger was fantastic and the bacon on bacon cheeseburger was as good as it gets. We will be back the next time we are up from Sheridan, MT.

Usually a good place for those of us in the North Valley to stop for cheap, carelessly thrown-together burgers, but tonight we stopped in at 8:30 (½ hour before the advertised closing time) and the door was locked. There was one employee inside who shook her head as though saying “we’re closed” even though the sign by their door and the google page both state open until 9pm on Sundays.

I highly recommend the shakes and custard ice-cream products, which are unique to this chain. Although the write up says cost is $, food at Hwy 55 is closer to $$. A recent sandwich, fries, and soda beverage dinner for five was $80 before tip, although two members of our group ordered only half sandwiches!
