We were passing through on vacation and found this gem! Nathan and Beth were our bartenders and they were HANDS DOWN the best! I had a shrimp trio platter and my husband had the flounder platter. Both were excellent and we were stuffed! The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for our one night getaway! We will definitely be back!

Our hostess Sierra was exceptional from walking into the door to sitting at the table. She handled our drinks while waiting and even when she seated us, which is a first-time experience for us. I had the snapper with lobster mac & cheese, and the Mrs. had the yellowfin tuna bowl. We did not have any leftovers to take home, as we are every bite. Our daughter are every last shrimp in her plate. My only complaint was the kid’s mac & cheese was most likely the “box” variety, but they happily removed it from our ticket. Not really a complaint! Exceptional food, exceptional service, exceptional atmosphere. We will return. I might return just for the lobster mac & cheese. I shared with everyone at the table, and we all loved it.

Worth the hype. Nice, fun vacation environment and the food is GOOD! I ordered the grilled shrimp platter and whatever they season it with is just *chefs kiss* we went for my uncles birthday.I’m from up north where restaurants sing happy birthday like they’re falling asleep but not in Mississippi. The staff did it with full on energy. The whole experience was great. The staff was amazing, the food was great and the prices were reasonable. Loved it so much that me and my sister ordered more food from here to eat on our way back to Ohio. This will be my go to spot next time I come to Gulfport

The firecracker shrimp tacos on the new menu is phenomenal!!! As well as fried green tomatoes and seafood fries. Anything from here is great. Craig the manager was polite and amazing. Morgan was the sweetest server and very on point. We loved Cam Cam was THE MAN. Ask for him or Morgan. The pineapple jalapeño Margaritas are a must!!!

Great ocean front place to eat. The view and atmosphere is great. The crowd is diverse and it’s just a fun place to be. They had misting tubes out on the deck because of the extreme heat.

Loved the casual atmosphere of a lunch at Shaggy’s by the water. We loved several of the triggerfish dishes especially – delicious! Cam was a very attentive and knowledgeable server, and we were in fact impressed how well- run the restaurant was, from online waitlist, to check in to even drink refills and food delivery. We definitely hope to schedule another visit to Shaggy’s soon.

We had so much fun! The staff was amazing, from our server (we sat outside) to the sweet gal who brought out our food with her bubbly personality! I wish we lived closer & could eat here every week! The food was AMAZING too! Best lemon pepper wings on the planet, and we had the crab Cobb salad that’s as to die for! ♥️ Best atmosphere, best food, and best service! It was great experience the whole time our waitor Blake was amazing! We made small talk and had a great time! The food was flavorful and plenty to go around we had the captain’s platter for 2 and it was more than enough for my husband and I. Definitely recommend putting the lemon on your fish and shrimp that they provide for you because it only added to the great flavors! The drinks that we had was amazing. My husband had the Freemason Golden ale which is a local brewery by the way and I had a sliver margarita and a Pina coloda which the Pina coloda was great but just a little too sweet for my taste but still great! We also had the crab bisque which also was good but it was fresh so you get the little pieces of crab shell which I’m not complaining because atheist I know it is fresh crab. And don’t let me forget the lobster cheese fries it was so good! The service was great and don’t get me started on the view of the beach!

Such a great restaurant to eat while in Gulfport! The atmosphere and vibe is perfect for a relaxing time. Servers were super kind and patient which is always a plus to a good service. And the food was amazing. We got the fried shrimp platter and the triggerfish. The fish and shrimp was so fresh and they give you a large portion that you may have to get takeout after the meal. Overall a must go for locals and visitors!
