The quality of food is better than most taco shops . The smoked salsa is quite tasty and flavorful. Definitely not a fan of the watered-down guacamole. Employees are friendly and smile. The chairs are somrwhat uncomfortable. Also, the food did not come all at once but did not bother us too much. Definitely recommend.

They have really good food here but the portions are extremely small, so keep that in mind. For example, my order consisted of 2 carne asada tacos with rice and beans and a fountain drink for $19.00. The tacos turned out to be the size of small street tacos and the rice and beans portions were about 4 bites each. So….I left still a little bit hungry but like I said it was really good and I recommend this place for a nice meal. Oh, and they have indoor dining as well as two outdoor patios to relax and enjoy the cooler evenings

Yes they do get busy but I have to say it’s not a long wait as other places. The food was great and the prices were better. My quesabirra was juicy and stuffed with both cheese and meat. Definitely will be coming back. By the way there red sauce was actually spicy which was a plus.

Great place to stop for a quick lunch (less than 30 minutes all in), with friendly cashier and clean restrooms. Recommend the pastor tacos. Have had better quesabirria elsewhere.

The food an drinks are superb . And the workers are so overworked its insane. But 1 the one star in service isn’t cuz they are horrible. It’s simply because they only give them 3 employees to handle everything. The lady is the cook and the other lady is the bartender/cashier. And the dude I’m assuming is maintenance. But it was a spectacle watching them try an move a refrigerator together.

I live Yucatan but when in California I’m craving northern Mexican food so I was glad to find this place and even more happy to see they had birria de chivo on the menu. I got there close to closing time so had it taken “to go” and ate it at my hotel down the street. The meat was tender and delicious and the tortillas, rice and beans were also perfect.

Even though we arrive late they still had the time and courtesy to serve us we were minutes away from them closing and we still managed to get a great service and great food I had dos tacos de carnitas dos tacos de carne asada y Los tacos de pastor. The tortillas were handmade they were made on the spot and the price for the tacos was $3 per taco for a total of $18 but worth the price. I also had one of their micheladas and it was really really good. You will find la imperial taquería west of 99 on highway 58 in Bakersfield, CA.
