My boyfriend and I went here today for take out for the first time and we were happy we did. We were greeted immidietly by the very kind and friendly owner! We looked over the menu and decided to have the sample platter with 3 sides. While we waited the owner realized we were new customers and she asked us if we would like to try their “signature sauces” we tried all three: Cherry-BBQ, Mild-BBQ- and Hot-BBQ and we enjoyed all three the owner explained the process of how they make their sauce’s and my boyfriend and I agree we would love for them to create a few more options!! We really enjoyed all of the sauce options and requested all three to go with our order. We would love For them to possible start selling some BBQ sauce by the jar! Now about the food, it was good for the most part, the pulled pork was really great and went wonderful with the sauce and so was the sausage, the brisket was dry and tough to eat and we were disappointed with this portion size too , we felt had such a small serving of everything and there could of been more ribs too as we both Had only one rib each and we had paid extra for them.. We also had the potato salad and the Mac and cheese and onion rings. The Mac and cheese was really creamy and it was good but really lacked some flavor it tasted a lot like there was too much sour cream or cream cheese in it… Maybe baking the Mac and cheese with a breadcrumb top would be better?! The potato salad was really good I just wanted more of the pickle in it or just a tad more flavor.. The onion rings were great and decent portion size for 2(about 3 rings each)! For a total cost of 25 dollars it’s was not bad and we would go back again, and next time we might sit down. We really hope this business continues to grow and people support them.

I would love to be able to eat at your restaurant to support the message you’re sending! If we ever make it to Colorado we will be stopping in for sure, God bless America and the Americans who appreciate it’s freedom.

For what it’s worth, I think what you’re doing is for a noble cause. It has people talking about a very important topic. Like you said, we’re all Americans first and foremost. As to the threats of legal action, I’m no attorney, but as far as I know, you can offer a discount to anyone you want to. It would only be unfair if you were to charge anyone more than your advertised menu prices. After all, many segments of society get discounts that others do not, such as seniors, AAA members, Military personnel and such. It really is sad that some are so afraid of a truly color blind society that they feel the need to threaten legal action and physical violence to preserve a segregated society. It just goes to show who the real racists are. Again, thank you for having the courage to follow through with your plan. I’d be willing to bet you never thought you’d garner so much attention. I wish you the best as you move forward with your business. God bless you and yours. From a grateful former US Marine. Semper Fi. Ooh Rah!

5 stars just for courage. This means they will try new ingredients, flavors, etc in menu to satisfy ALL customers. Not afraid of other restaurant critics opinions.

Good food, but what is all of this stuff about “Caucasian Appreciation Day” that I’m reading about in the reviews? I’ll bet it’s tough to eat BBQ without getting sauce on your white hood!

You should run your appreciation day a whole month just to make sure everyone knows that the “white race” is alive and well here in Colorado. WTG for sitting on clown paint!

Ignore the hating hypocrites screaming “racist” out of hatred of Whites. This is a wonderful, minority-owned cafe with awesome food and a great atmosphere, and a sense that EVERYONE matters in America, even White people.
