I had the burrito bowl, which showed as a new item on the menu. The meal was tasty, could have arrived hotter in temperature but I finished it and would try it again. The complementary chips were okay, the white sauce was too thick and the red sauce was runny. The seating was tight, they sat every one on top of each other, I was seated in a booth, and they sat everyone in the same section, even though there were other seating available. I could hear burps, crunching of chips and conversations all around me.

We used to love going here… “Used to” being the key words. I’m not sure exactly what happened to this place. I switched from Cazadores to Plaza a few years ago for quality reasons, but these days I won’t even recommend Plaza to anyone, not even an enemy. Service is wonderful, but the food…meh. My wife ordered the beef taco salad. I included a picture of it.

My husband and I used to get take out here all the time but no more. I just noticed that they include a fee for take out orders so no thanks. I wonder if they know that there’s a class action lawsuit against a Buffalo Wild Wings in Maryland for the same thing? People don’t like being nickeled and dimed. Their food isn’t any better than the other Mexican restaurants in the area so we’ll be going to the one across the street from where I live that gets wonderful reviews and has lower prices.

Hello Plaza Azteca. I ordered through Door Dash; birria tacos, chips, salsa and queso. I attempted to call and complain to the store directly, but the woman I spoke to, didn’t seem to understand my complaint. I found a tuft of hair/fur/steel wool in the bottom of my chip bag. Very unpleasant to find. I had ordered yesterday, but didn’t find it until today as it was leftovers. I wanted to make yall aware. I took a picture as well should you need it.

My daughter and I used to love coming here for our Tuesday dinner dates but lately the service and food hasn’t been as good as usual. We recently tried somewhere different in another town and it was everything Plaza used to be. Hopefully it’s just a lull they are going through and the food and service will recover.

Had to constantly run down our server. Only 2 tables were occupied and we couldn’t get refills or our checks. They had several people working too. Portions for the price were horrible too.

Plaza Azteca was sooo good! We got the table side guacamole, SHREDDED BEEF chimichangas and we ended with the churros. We also got beer-aritas. The prices were just right and I would recommend this place to anyone. This is the 1st restaurant on the east coast that I have found with Shredded beef. I was impressed.
