Ordered the garlic shrimp because we heard it was a must-try in Honolulu. The flavors were great and the shrimp was buttery, rich, and very garlicky. I wish the shrimp was a bit more crispy but it was still delicious – definitely a place to try!

This place doesn’t live up to the original food truck located in the north shore. Felt like the garlic was just poured over the shrimp. Orders came out too fast. Shrimp needs to be cooked properly w the garlic to get the full flavor.

Was not as tasty as I remember. Though I think part of the allure of garlic shrimp is eating it outdoors in the North Shore after a day at the beach. Eating this in an indoor food court definitely mutes the experience and exposes the fact that you’re eating simple garlic butter shrimp and rice.

I expected to be a little better given the hype around shrimp trucks. Guessing having it straight from the truck is better. This was still a yummy experience! A little hard to park in the garage nearby and not the easiest to find but he location on the second floor of the H Mart so leave a little time to get there.

We were super hyped to try this place, because it was recommended by friends who visited the island a month prior. As soon as i got to the location, i realized it’s an located in a hip food truck lot, with a lot of options for everyone. I was excited, until i realized you had to pay to park. Even then, you had to wait for a parking spot to open before you get one. With all that disappointment put behind me, i was excited to try the food the most!
