From the outside it doesn’t look like much but walk inside and it’s the best diner you ever been too . The food is fantastic . I have had the big breakfast, the steak tacos, the pork cutlet and a mushroom hamburger . They were just fantastic. Plus the most friendly staff you will ever meet. Definitely a must try I did and I’m hooked.

Ride or drive to a quaint little town called Golconda and stop in at Tanny’s Grill and Chill, near the Ohio River. The menu is great and includes breakfast. Tanny always has daily specials too, which include homemade sides and even homemade dressings for your salad. My favorite there is the huge pork tenderloin sandwich, but have never eaten anything there I didn’t like. Tanny and the staff are great; she even posed with us in our pic!!!!! Make this place a stop on your travels thru Southern Illinois.
