I have eaten here many times over the years and the property has changed hands a few times. Very disappointed this last visit- again seemed like new owners. I had the bean and beef burrito which used to be a popular item. It was very average and did not have a lot of flavor. Skimpy portion with not a lot of cheese or green chili. Flies were pesky while I was eating. One outstanding point of my visit was I had a very good waitress who provided excellent service. She was new to the area; from Califirnia. Being this is one of only a couple places to eat in Byers you are stuck unless you go to a neighboring town.

Since I don’t eat beef, I didn’t expect much going to burger joint, but it’s the closest restaurant to High Plains Raceway so we ended up there. Service was prompt and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious – cooked to perfection with some melty cheese on it. They have excellent french fries as well. Would definitely return!

They have fantastic food and desserts. Great service and great pricing. My son loves their Spicy Island Burger and I love their broasted chicken. We both love their Mozzarella Sticks, fried mushrooms, pickles and onion rings.

Food is overpriced and the staff and management are rude. I once ordered extra bacon on my burger and was charged an additional $3 for two measly slices of bacon. Initially thinking this was just an error on our server’s part I brought it up with them only to be told I’d half to talk to the owner. Luckily for me the owner was right in back and came out and rolled her eyes at me as she said that the price of bacon had tripled in the past month. You definitely saved a whole lot of money considering you lost three regular, well-tipping customers.

One of the best burger joints in the state! Right off I-70, plenty of parking and not 5 yards away is room for a couple big trucks. Highly recommend this place. Fave burger is the spicy island.

Neat little place, glad I gave it a try. Ordered zucchini bites, which were great! Quick service, we were in and out in no time. Many drink options, including Italian soda and shakes!

The avocado burger was delish! It’s in the small town of Byers so you’ve got to really want it to justify the drive from Denver. The gentleman patrons were super friendly to my husband and answered numerous questions about the area.

This is a great little place. Our server, Justin, was very friendly and prompt. He was doing double duty in the kitchen and dining room but was still very attentive. Very pleased, I would definitely recommend this place!

This place is under new ownership. I just stopped by there and the chicken was absolutely amazing the best I have had. Definitely a keeper. I brought a pace home to my son and he insisted we go back the next day.
