The flavoring of The skirt steak was just okay for the skirt and Frites. The American breakfast was good. The bacon is super crispy and delicious, crispy fingerling potatoes were delicious and eggs were done perfectly. Cappuccino and latte were delicious. Outside seating give a great ambience and view of the wharf and Potomac river. The overnight oatmeal was slightly on the sweeter side. It is tasty with fresh fruit and berries on top. We will be back to try other menu items. Onion soup looks good. We’ll try it next time.

We had a wonderful ladies brunch at Bistro du Jour, both of our servers were excellent (the fact that we had a server change might give light to how long we were there ). Our first server (who’s name is escaping me) was wonderful and very accommodating. She did forget to give us soup spoons but honestly we were so busy enjoying ourselves we barely noticed. The view (and people watching) was a blast. We had to call over the manager Rhasheda just to tell her how great our server and her service was before we closed out and she was off. Then Marcus took over and the good times continued. Overall would highly recommend for a variety of reasons from the food to the atmosphere.

Guess I had higher expectations..I took French back in high school and always wanted to try Le coq au vin, chicken and wine. Got three drum sticks , some gravy and mashed potatoes. The desert was good though. My coworkers ordered the other dishes shown.

Located on the wharf it’s a nice spot to grab a bite and have a view of the river. Went here for dinner and the food was just okay, nothing really stood out. Salmon was cooked well but bland. The Apple tart dessert was soggy and not worth it. Probably wouldn’t go back unless it was my only option.

Our family loved everything we ordered. The mussels, gnocchi, and steak frites were fresh and cooked well. Service was attentive too.

Best cafe and restaurant at Wharf in DC. Since I prefer he got compiccino, they did help me to make it!!! I appreciate it, especially they make it free just because of the long wait

Really fun vibes. Good drink prices! Food is average considering the higher price but then again it’s the Wharf and everything is a bit pricey… the Coq au Vin was so good but wish there was more in the meal. Mussels were a bit overcooked. The fries however are some of the best fries I’ve ever had! Wow! I could eat a boatload of them. And the mussels’ sauce was incredible, I had to stop from drinking it . Definitely there are highlights but I wouldn’t say anyone should go out of there way for this place unless for fries and some wine, which were the best part. Good service, too!

Visted Washington D.C. back in March and stumbled upon this wonderful place. We visited a few times during our trip and everything we tried was divine.
