Highly recommend!!! They are more than willing to accommodate large groups and did a fantastic job serving our very large group of about 60 people. Food was delicious and the service was great. Restaurant feels and tastes authentic. By far our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, even their breakfast is killer. We Were here for a week and ate there multiple times, waits are short and staff is friendly. I highly recommend eating here, for any meal of the day, as every bite we had was delicious.

Was craving mexican food and was in town for other matters, and this place really impressed me! I love the decor inside and overall theme of this place. We had a variety of stuff but, its hard to mess up beans, rice and stuff, this place did not dissapoint! The burritos were very big and the sauce that came with it was amazing! I recommend their flan it is by far the best ive ever had and i’ve had a lot!!

La Katrina Authentic Mexican Cocina in Moro Bay truly does have some tasty Mexican food. The first morning I went inside to order takeout. I was there very early. I got menudo for myself and a breakfast burrito for my wife. The menudo was great! It came with granos and all the fixings. The second morning we sat outside in their dog friendly patio. I ordered the Chilaquiles to see how they made it. It’s basically cut up fried corn tortillas topped with salsa and eggs. This one came with nicely grilled carne. Very tasty. Katrina’s is a local restaurant that serves well made Authentic Mexican food!

My omelette was cooked perfectly and not dried out. The cheddar cheese was rich and tasty. Rice and beans were authentic style and good. Chips were fresh. The salsa had great flavor but was very tame as far as spicy goes, not necessarily a bad thing. Service was great even after coming in a few minutes after open. Our plates were a little on the pricey side, but understandable given the location and inflation. Will be back again.

A delightful change in this location. Better food than any Mexican restaurant in the area. Very fresh and the Morro Bay burrito had fresh fish that was flaky and taste great. A great assortment of fresh salsa and the gentleman was very nice

They’re friendly, the atmosphere is definitely authentic for Mexican dining. The BRC burrito was great, but it takes a LOT to get 5 stars out of me on that one. I’d recommend this place to someone coming through the area!

We love authentic Mexican food. While visiting in Morro Bay we did a quick google search for authentic Mexican food in Morro Bay. With the highest rating we took a chance. Absolutely excellent. From the salsa to the burritos to the chilaquiles to the queso find I do, you can’t go wrong. We highly recommend La Katrina for delicious authentic Mexican fare.

Didn’t like the food. Ordered steak fajitas all of it was onions, bell peppers and tomatoes. It only had 7 little strips of meat. Paid for a plate full of onions basically. Never going there again.
