Food smelled great, that was the best thing I can say. Taste was no where to be found. I have never eaten a meal that totally lacks flavor or taste. Service was terrible at best. Only one server working and definitely the few tables occupied was more than she could handle. I had read good reviews when they first reopened under a new name. They had a lot of business when they reopened under a new name and a total change to their menu. Don’t know what happened. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I’m not one to write reviews and rarely have complaints, but I have to admit that I was disappointed when I picked up chocolate-covered strawberries today. I understand they were freshly decorated this morning, but they were very small for the price and not particularly appealing for gift-giving. I had seen some that other people had gotten from other places that were much nicer and larger for a comparable price, but I was being courteous and accepting an order I had called in a few days ago. Better luck next year.

Very over priced for below mediocre food. Well done on a burger does not mean solid pink all the way through. Boring corned beef and over toasted bread that was hidden by an obnoxious amount of sauerkraut. Undercooked pasta in the pasta salad. Just an overall lack of cooking skills. I had gone once before and got a bland steak and cheese while my friend got a bowl of chili that tasted like ketchup. I will not be going back.

Bought a Groupon for a dozen cupcakes. They were really good and because of the home made quality, I will definitely return to try more baked goods. I’ve gotten breakfast sandwiches here which were a little high in price but they were scratch made and very good also. I just wish they would have more hot food choices, other than sandwiches later in the day.

I was very disappointed with their cookie and cupcake trays. My very good friend spent over $50 + tip at this place for her 49th anniversary with her husband and when they were delivered well they were not only dinky in size but the presentation was appalling!!! I mean it all looked like it had come from Walmart and a child had made it. I will never come back here or trust them with any of my events. The cookies were delicious it’s hard to mess up cookies. She ordered their assortment which was chunky chocolate chip, sugar, and coconut. The cupcakes I didn’t even touch they were trashed! For $50 you would expect a nice frosting maybe some design oh no. Not here. She got chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting with green and red sugar crystal sprinkles. Cheap! And they were all knocked around the small tray. There were possibly 20 cookies and 10 cupcakes total. What is that almost $2 per dessert? Not impressed. You’re better off baking for yourself. And I really hate saying all of this because I love small business’s especially here in Denver! I just hope they see my review and they learn that they can’t just take advantage of sweet people who they know would never complain about their short comings. Not me! This was terrible and you best fix this for all of your future take out orders!

Cute place, My philly was pretty good. The bread was the star of the show! It was so yummy and fresh could have eaten that all day long. The Italian salad was good too! Staff was friendly as well.

Great place for lunch in Denver, NC. I’ve tired the Cuban, the Italian and the Philly Cheese Steak.. I can’t wait to go back to try something different. They bake the bread fresh and it taste so good. They are also open for breakfast, maybe we will get over there in the morning sometime.

This place is pretty good but still not anything special. The employees were not friendly and seemed disorganized. I was skipped on line because the employee knew the person behind me. The food was fair enough but nothing you couldn’t get at another deli.

A handy soup and sandwich cafe, also with a few baked goodies…cookies for sure. The food is fresh on the sandwich line, expected variety of choices. Have had soup on one visit. Coffee in pump thermos pots and bottled beverages available. Has been a popular lunch stop for local businesses… BUT since my 1st visit a couple years ago, the variety of choices seems less, and chicken salad needs some flavor additions..it was bland last week. We will try them again…might have just been an off day or a new chef learning the ropes.
