This cafe is so nice! The ambiance, food and service is wonderful! We got the lox and bagel in French croissant in the house were absolutely delicious! We also got the café mocha, and that was amazing! We will definitely be back!

I am happy to be the first one reviewing this cafe. I work in different areas of northern suburbs (cook and lake county) my hobby is to try new coffee shops. This place falls in my top three. I loved the coffee and loved the avocado toast I got. I don’t usually like runny eggs but that sandwich had a beautiful balance between the avocado spread and the runny eggs. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Cute little cafe in a peaceful area of Long Grove. Got the chocolate strawberry iced latte on the owner’s recommendation and it did not disappoint: not too sweet or heavy, good espresso, and unique. The cumato (bagel with cream cheese, cucumber, and tomato) was also lovely. Friendly, cozy, and in a great spot for relaxing or catching up with a friend.

What a delightful and atmospheric coffee shop. Wonderful and kind service. The decor inside gives a sense of relaxation with a perfectly prepared coffee, huh great coffee. I will definitely come here more than once because I really enjoyed my time here. What can I add is relaxing music playing somewhere in the background.

Delicious, in-house roasted coffee and scrumptious artisan sweet and savoury bites that clearly come from a place of love. Last Sunday I had a Meataliscious sandwich there and it was soo good. My kid had a freshly baked croissant but I wasn’t fast enough to snap a pic of it 😉 I am already longing for more! Quiet, cozy place with great atmosphere where you can enjoy a healthy snack and a simply good coffee. Super nice people there too! I hope they will succeed.

Im delighted to have discovered this place! It reminds me of those charming European cafes with great music. I recently enjoyed one of the best coffees of my life here – it was incredibly rich in flavor. Ive tried their espresso nut truffles, and they were absolutely delicious! Additionally, their Plant power sandwich was amazing . The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

I am not a coffee drinker but am always on the hunt for quaint coffee houses. I was so glad to find Blu Fig Cafe, in downtown Long Grove. What a charming and inviting place it is, a true gem! I spent a couple of hours there working and trying various drinks and food items. The owners were very engaging and spoke about their new place with a passion. They have a wonderful selection, and everything tasted delicious (food made in-house, with clean ingredients). I tried Turmeric Latte, Meatalicios sandwich, and a brownie – all fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.
