My boyfriend and I stumbled into this restaurant actually thinking it was a different one! But we decided to give it a shot anyways. I’m so glad we did. Paul and Tara gave us the best service you could imagine, the wine was perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious!! Best rack of Lamb I’ve ever had! We did come in on a Tuesday night but they still sat us immediately with no reservation and made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a special date night with your significant other!

This was our first time in Port Aransas, and our first rime at Venetian Hot Plate. The area and the restaurant did not fail to please. Are there areas they can improve? Yes, but we were pleased nonetheless. Venetian had great food and ambiance. Our host was attentive to our requests. Waitress and wait staff can take a few lessons from the host/owner, but that is more of a training issue than anything else. We will definitely return to Venetian if in the Port Aransas area. Thank you Venetian, for an enjoyable time.

Wow. Just wow. Food was amazing. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was perfect. If you want to get away from the touristy restaurants in Port A and grab a nice dinner.. This is your place. Now mind you, you’re going to pay for the high quality of service, food, and atmosphere but it’s worth it. Every person we interacted with was professional and personable. They made us feel at home. I highly recommend making reservations as it’s a small, highly sought after dinner spot.

They always make you feel like family! Make sure you have a reservation as they only have 15 tables. They’re the only restaurant I have been to in Port A that you don’t have a wait for your table for dinner because they plan accordingly with the reservations!

Going way above and beyond “best restaurant in Port A” this place could be in the conversation for one of the best restaurants in Texas! Of course the pasta and Italian dishes are divine and will certainly live up to any expectations set by this reviewer or others but the ribeye is nothing short of PERFECT. Kudos too for a very reasonably priced wine menu.

Wow! I chose to have my birthday dinner at Venetian Hot Plate, and I’m SO glad I did! The meal was absolutely incredible! The Caesar Salad and Crème Brûlée were the best I’ve ever had, and the duck was perfection! They really know what they’re doing here! The owners/staff also made us feel very welcome, and the service was impeccable! This will definitely be our “go to” spot when in Port A!

Absolutely amazing food and such a lovely dining experience! ❤ Everything was cooked perfectly and our waitress was so pleasant. This is the perfect place for a date or to celebrate an anniversary. Order a bottle of wine and be sure to try the lamb. Single handedly that was the best bite of lamb I’ve ever tasted in my entire life!!! Come give this place a try. You won’t regret it!
