This is a hidden gem on the Susquehanna River. They provide very generous portions and at very low cost. (If you are not hungry order a small). They also provide very timely service despite long lines. They had great customer service and a great atmosphere. They had awesome outdoor seating and easily accessible condiments and any supplies needed for ice cream. The only downside to this place is the parking when it gets busy. Overall, I love this place.

First time I’ve been. Been meaning to stop for awhile but the aesthetic is amazing the food is good and well priced for the large amount you get. I think the ice cream sizes are too big for my personal taste (a medium was like an extra large) but the ice cream itself was delicious. Overall great experience and great food.

Drove from the Bronx to see this shop.. I have to admit, well worth the 3 hour drive. service was at its all best. Amazing choices to choose from, and yes, the ice cream is fresh, tasty, and better than a marriage. Ohhh, I forgot to mention that their prices are great. Crazy nice atmosphere. People were extremely nice, happy-go-lucky crowd that makes you feel safe.

So…tonight I asked my wife what she wanted for dinner…her reply was- “How about Ice Cream Sundaes?”…So off we went to Kristy’s Whistle Stop…Not a very healthy dinner…I know…I know…but every once in a while…LOL…I had the Fat Mama, but I get chocolate syrup instead of hot fudge(order the Medium, not the Large, the Medium is HUGE!)…and my wife had the Brownie Sundae…we really enjoyed our ice cream treats and we’ll be back again this summer…on the way out we saw someone else with the same idea we had…Sundaes for dinner with a Large order of French Fries…OMG…it was the biggest order of Fries I have ever seen! LOL…Update: Hot day today, July 3rd…Great dinner at home…Chicken Parm Ravioli and a quick trip to Hobby Lobby…on our way we stop at our new Favorite ice cream stop for Sundaes…Fat Mamma and Fat Daddy!

Classic style indoor/outdoor ice cream stop plus burgers, fries etc. Delicious soft serve ice cream — very rich, and *enormous* portions. (Photo shown is of a large for $5.80!) Highly recommend.

I have been coming to this place for a long time. They have always had amazing food and ice cream. This past visit, i got their peach sunday. Awesome but would suggest a little peach syrup drizzled on top. Overall, 9/10, would absolutely get again.

The Sundaes are spectacular…I had the s’mores sundae. I was asked what size. You have got to be kidding me. SIZE they actually have small medium and large. I am finally in control of my hunger… I got small. Yes it’s small!!!
