While I was saddened that Acres didn’t survive the pandemic, Jaime’s is a welcome addition to the area. This place is PACKED every time I drive by, finally tagged along with the neighbors to check it out.

A decent Tex-Mex option located in the spot of the old Acre’s. The chicken soup was good, enchiladas were delicious, but the tamales should be skipped. Overall, a casual spot with some hits and misses on the menu. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great new spot! We came for lunch on a Wednesday and it was packed. We parked on the street. The chips and salsa were tasty. I ordered birria tacos and they were amazing! Perfect tenderness in shredded beef, the meat stew was delicious for dipping. This item isn’t on the menu but they made it anyways and I’ll be ordering it every time. Come give this place a try!

I’m excited they opened this second location closer to my house. I used to love going to their first spot on Jewel. My wife and I picked up dinner to go here, we both got a smothered burrito. My favorites are the Jaime’s Special burrito and the carne asada.

I have always loved the food at Jamie’s in Lakewood so I found the same traditional recipes here. The medium Margarita is perfect with great tasting salsa. I ordered the enchiladas and they were perfect. This is a place owned by a great family who remembers their customers. Jaime is a cool Mexican guy who knows how to serve great Mexican food. Staff is friendly and the prices are $12 -$15 for a good size meal. Food is fresh and there’s no skimping.
