Was in town visiting, and our Uber driver and a few others told us to make sure we ate the original Popeyes bc it’s quite different. They made our order fresh, so we had to wait 12 minutes, but the food was absolutely amazing! It tastes nothing like the Popeyes in GA. It was very flavorful and fresh. I will NEVER eat Popeyes unless I’m in New Orleans.

I’m a visitor from Virginia came down here on a vacation an decided to walk into one of y’all facility’s to take in that New Orleans Louisiana fried chicken. We decided to go to the location (2020 St Charles Ave) ordered a 12pc mild/spicy family order with mash potatoes, Mac and Cheese with a side order of 2 fries. While waiting for our order the manager that’s in the picture thats inserted noticed that they was short on fries he rendered no assistance as he was on his phone taking in a game while customers where coming in an awaiting for orders. Me being a manager from back home I noticed that this behavior was not acceptable as a manager an very disgusting to look at.

Staff were friendly, with the southern hospitality. Fast and efficient service, chicken were served fresh and consistent. Nil complaints to be said although the sweet tea was way tooooo sweet. I can still tast the sugar in my mouth!

Never In my life did my fiancé experience such rude and lazy staff. we placed a mobile order at 10:31pm. the restaurant closes at 11pm. they REFUSED to make our order because they did not want to make more chicken, and wanted to close early. he asked for the managers name, to which the manager refused to give it to him, yelled at the staff that were trying to actually fix the issue, and kicked him out for harassment without returning our money. now we go to bed hungry because nothing else is open for walk in pick up.

Love the chicken, but sides have decreased in size. The employees at the register are rude (especially to the elderly) and wear inappropriate clothing. I only go to this location when absolutely dying for some Popeyes!
