We had a large group (12) that they handled well. Some of us tried the rib special – very good flavor, not as lean as baby backs should be. Other meals were good as well. Salad bar was awesome – true supper club style.

Unfortunately would not recommend. Very pleasant ambiance, but poor execution. Ordered the filet minon medium rare. Came out in 10 minutes and felt like a sponge. I chatted with the owner, and after she asked me what I wanted them to do, she took it back to cook it longer. Picture below is after the chef sent it out a second time. It came out sizzling on my plate from the broiler, but clearly still raw in the middle. When I first asked the owner about the steak, she told me “we undercook it so we can always cook it more.” No replacement steak was offered, and I felt a there was a general lack of understanding surrounding how to cook a steak.

We were ignored for 30 minutes when we entered the restaurant. They asked if we had a reservation, we did not, and they walked away from us. They did not share how long it would be till we could be seated. They did not take our name and put it on a list. They just ignored us for 30 minutes. We just stood there with hungry kids. There was an open table in the bar area and we asked a server if we could sit there and they said they didn’t know and went to ask. But again, nothing. We were finally offered that table, but were never offered drinks or was able to order drinks other than water. Once we ordered food the meal came incomplete. And it took another half hour to get the bill. She took 15 minutes to just swipe the card and shared no pleasantries about the situation. No “sorry it took so long” or “sorry your order was incomplete” or “thank you for coming”. Nothing.

From the moment we ordered it was fantastic! Gotwald party of 6 arrived at 6pm on Friday…Waitress was spot on! The guy’s ordered steaks with mashed potatoes/ wild rice and Brussel sprouts, the strip also had 2 large scallops on top.. huge steaks cooked perfectly! The ladies each ordered 3 different pastas, Cajun andoullie sausage and shrimp was pretty epic, chicken tettrazini with wild rice looked amazing, chicken Alfredo was oozing with goodness! The drinks were excellent, the service was again fantastic, the atmosphere was great….food was piping hot and plated beautifully. I recommend reservations as it filled up quickly….can’t wait to come back!!!

Sorry but they need to serve better meat. Id recommen eating at mallerys in hudson wi. To tast top quality ribeye

My 11yo son and I are 2 weeks into a dairy and gluten free diet for health reasons and this was our first time eating out. Nicole and Colleen were extremely helpful, patient, and kind in helping us order and come up with options! My son was so happy to learn about baked naked wings! They also have dairy free butter on hand that is perfect over the sweet potato! Thank you for helping us discover great new options!

We should have left when the sludge ice tea arrived. I am not kidding. It was sludge! It was so scary, neither one of us could even screw up our courage to taste it. How can a restaurant in the north woods ruin walleye!? Maybe if it sat in a freezer for weeks? It was dry, covered in dill, no lemon or tartar…Disgusting! And they charge $25 for it! I cannot even describe the awful sandwich my poor husband ordered. I guess when you don’t have many choices in restaurants, this might be acceptable to some. But sludge iced tea? Stuff of nightmares….the waitress was bubbly…until she disappeared.
