I have tried Mod Pizza a couple of times. With exception of their specialty pizzas, which had hardly any toppings, their pizzas are fantastic… at least the couple of times I tried them in the past. The idea of “build your own” is great and there is always a good amount of toppings on the “build your own” option. I don’t know if they just had an off day, but today was bad.

This is the third time IN A ROW I’ve gotten a salad with disgusting rotted lettuce from this store. There is absolutely no excuse for this. There is no way you can’t see this lettuce is beyond spoiled – I could see it the second I took the lid off the salad, so they’re clearly purposely serving this lettuce that is slimy and brown – and over half the salad was bad. We’re done eating here.

I ordered a MOD size pizza and went with the base of the mad dog and added some serrano peppers, mushrooms, black olives, and onions. It was delicious! I will definitely be coming back whenever I want a pizza!

My recent experience with Mod Pizza, Wylie left much to be desired. The appearance of the pizza was far from appetizing- It lacked the appealing visuals that one expects from a well-crafted pizza. The toppings seemed haphazardly placed, and the overall presentation was underwhelming. The pizza had not been cooked thoroughly. The crust lacked the desired crispness; we had to re-cook at home. As for the taste, it was unfortunately mediocre at best. One of the toppings was chicken, and it was so bad.

Food is great! Young lady employee was very rude! We got there 30 minutes prior to closing for just a quick bite. Eat and run. She was so angry that we were there 30 min before closing that she told us multiple times in an ugly way that they close at 10 (they already had all of the chairs stacked on the tables- put up- at 9:30) and she swept all around our feet as we ate, rolled her eyes, and cleaned off our tables WHILE we were still sitting there. Very rude…..Closing at 10pm means a restaurant stops serving food at 10pm. It does NOT mean that everyone must be out the door at 10pm. Very unprofessional…….

The salads were really good, but the pizza was pretty much just pizza. I got a mega because I like crust, but if this was the mega then I’d hate to see the regular. Anyway, it was good, but I doubt I’ll ever be craving it enough to go back.

Good food and great service. The carryout is super streamlined and they are great about working with you on any missing items and timeliness. Pizzas are very solid! Would recommend the cauliflower crust even if you aren’t restricted to it.
