We absolutely loved it. We sat outside and the weather was amazing in early August. The waiter was super friendly, the food was amazing, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what we needed. I was impressed that the chicken tenders my son ordered were actual filets of chicken that had been breaded, floured, and cooked on-site, not something from the store. We recommend the Mountain View 100%! Disfruta/enjoy! ️

Stopped in for breakfast this morning, biscuits and gravy for me, which I have had much better but they just Ok and my better half had an egg white spinach omelette which he said was yummy especially the hash browns. The waitress we had was new but trying her best and was very sweet.

Ryan was an angel! He greeted us immediately with a warm smile and amazing energy. I’ve never had better service at a restaurant before today and I’m a server and bartender myself! Deacon, the chef, whipped us up the most delicious fish sandwich I’ve had in Colorado. Overall 100/10 service and food quality. Thank you guys!

While some state the food is over priced , the proof is in the posted menu , and, in the San Luis Valley , with real satisfied customers. Finally a good restaurant in Ft Garland that is run by qualified People and a real chef in Charge . I hope this place holds fast and does not fold to fake reviews left by friends , of the other restaurant owners that are in the area that suffer from the “Good Old Boy” syndrome that has plagued the Valley for generations. The food is Great , and priced well within reach of most people. Stop in to try it, its actually the best place in the Valley now . Food is fresh and not the typical canned or frozen food service food you see every were else. Stop in to try it, you wont regret it, I have eaten in 5 star places and I have eaten in some of the Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, this place can stand on its own , fast becoming a Local Favorite!. I will be recommending this as a stop for Guy Fieri , for the next time he comes to Colorado . I think he will be really stoked to see the place and try the food. I ordered breakfast requested extra crispy hash browns, and got them cooked correctly, crispy and brown just like I liked them…….

Really great food! My fiancé got their special, the roast beef omelette, and it was delicious. You can tell everything was made from scratch. I loved their hash browns. My son was the only one who didn’t eat much, only because they didn’t serve chicken nuggets and French fries until 11.

Food was good but I found it way too pricey for the portions, there was nothing to pair the meal with the plates just weren’t very inviting. The waiter was super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect small town feel….I may be back in the future, hopefully the menu gets reinvented

The food was delicious, and the service was awesome! Ryan was our very friendly server and recommended the blue mtn chicken and waffle (not on the menu) – it’s Xavior, the cook’s, specialty. It was amazingly delicious! My husband had the Huevos Ranchos, also good.
