Quesabirria tacos. Very nasty and tasteless. Tacos were not crispy or crunchy at all as shown. The shells were still soft. Will not be back again, order tasted very rushed and poorly prepared.

Awesome, authentic Mexican food. Our pickup order was taken by a polite and efficient employee. The order was affordable for our family of four, and it was ready promptly. The menu was diverse and the food was fresh and well prepared. I think we will put our order in online next time though so they don’t have to put up with my pathetic Spanish We can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!

I ordered the Tacos and I got cilantro and onions I ordered as well. It made the tacos so delicious. If I was pregnant and craving tacos with onions and cilantro I would be very pleased!!!!!! Delicioso!!!

BEST TACOS IN IOWA!!! I am very confused by the negative reviews to say the least… Our server was super friendly! Pastor and asada tacos were super filling and seasoned PERFECTLY! Get the QUESABIRRIA quesadilla!!! Our chips and salsa were complimentary but I would definitely pay for them even if they weren’t. The salsa actually had spice and flavor! I thought pricing was inexpensive. Cannot wait to make this a weekly spot!

Don’t let the somewhat rough facade of the exterior deter you from enjoying this incredible food! This is truly authentic Mexican food at an unbelievably affordable price. The margs are light and refreshing without being too boozy or cloyingly sweet. The tacos were out of this world, and the service was prompt and wonderful. Go and get you some, it’s sooooooo gooooood.

Worst tacos in town!! I figured I give them one more chance after having a bad experience. Once I walked in the restaurant there was a girl doing some girls hair in the front. Which I know is not sanitary. I also order 8 tacos total but got 10 instead meaning the girl that was doing hair who took my order was not paying attention. Meaning I paid more then I should have and I wouldn’t have mind it but the tacos were horrible!! La Regia is 10 times better service and food!

I thought I was in for a nice surprise after I ate the chips and salsa. The chips were nice and the salsa was pretty good, but the rest of the food was very bland and dry. I got a steak burrito(it fell apart), one steak taco, and two birria beef tacos(they were out of goat). The steak tasted like it had been cooked and sat for some time and didn’t even taste like it had any seasonings at all. The birria was ok at best, but still fairly bland. The burrito, which was in a diner style red basket fell apart as soon as I started eating it, and the rice, which I assume was Mexican style rice looked like white rice was also tasteless. The server barely served me, and asked if I was ready to pay before I even finished eating.

Terrible place. First the food is Overpriced. Second the waiter is terrible nothing but mean looks and seems like she doesn’t care at all. The food is regular nothing special especially for the price they set it at. I would recommend not to eat here. There’s plenty of better places to eat at down the street. They didn’t even want to add limes to the 6 tacos they charged 20$ for. Greedy ppl who don’t deserve business support the actual Mexican restaurants. La Regia Taqueria is 100% better

The food here is always so good and fresh. But the service is not that great. We’ve had the same lady each time we went, I haven’t seen anyone else there. She takes awhile to get to you and once you order, she doesn’t check on you at all. We have to usually get her attention when we’re ready to order, need anything, and when we’re ready for the check. Once before, not even bringing back the change. At least she’s not rude. Its worth going but have patience in case you wait.

Food was decent enough but the service was not good at all. Waitress came to our table to ask about how the bill was split and that’s it. You also have to pay for chips and salsa, something I’ve never had to do before at a Mexican restaurant.
