Waitress (Amy, per the check) was one of (if not THE) worst we’ve ever had. Food was mediocre at best – although surprisingly, the best we’ve found in Mentor as of yet. Soggy egg roll, plate smothered in sauce. Asked if I could get the sweet and sour chicken (“puffy-style” deep-fried chicken)but with a different sauce and the waitress said verbatim, “we don’t do that, order something else”. Wayyy expensive for what you got.

The food was amazing! My mother & I ate there on Aug.18th. The egg roll’s are to die for. The service was also outstanding. I truly feel they treat you like family when you’re at there restaurant. I was able to talk to the owner very friendly personable 1 note left to say they’re definitely an authentic Chinese restaurant. The owner take pride in his restaurant.

TAKEOUT BUYERS BEWARE!! The prices online are approx half of what the real charged prices are. Sweet & sour pork:pork was tough/chewy. There was only one piece of pineapple & 1 small piece of green pepper in the sauce. Shrimp w lobster sauce was decent. Egg rolls were burnt & had something akin to wet dog food in them. Sorry…DEFINATELY won’t go back!

Since reopening the food is even better than before. Absolutely love the Pork fried rice along with beef chow mein. Prices have gone up and I believe the combo dinners are gone but the improvement in the dishes alone justify the increase.

I apologize to Imperial Dragon for not having posted this timely. We were there shortly after they had their grand re-opening, and we loved the food so much, after that I actually called them after we finished eating, just tell them how delicious their food was and how happy we were they had reopened . Although we did pick our food up, the staff was attentive and friendly and they’re greeter was so friendly and had such a nice smile . Their new design and decor was quite lovely also…

I didn’t even wanna give this restaurant one star. The food was not worth the prices the dim sum was gross and the food was as subpar. My family and I became ill after eating here. The service was bad everyone was rude. It took me nearly 20 minutes to just get new water after it looked like some chewed grains of rice were in my original water. We then witnessed one of the servers yell at another customer all because he asked for hot tea (which is on the menu) because they didn’t have it. As if it was obvious they didn’t have it. The server was incredibly rude to us our entire meal and would disappear for nearly a half hour before coming back and could cut us off before we could order. They have no options for smaller kids there as well. Then while trying to pay they couldn’t figure out how to work the new system…so it took nearly 20 minutes to pay. I handed my server a cash tip of 18% she came back and told me it wasn’t enough and I needed to tip more. I personally am a sever at a fine dining restaurant and this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth. I absolutely would not be back again. If you are looking for good dim sum or Chinese food in general your better off going to Cleveland and eating at li wahs. Better food and better service.

This is definitely NOT the old Imperial Dragon. If the new owner also owns other Asian restaurants, it doesn’t show. Our server was polite but not very attentive. We had to repeat our orders several times before she got them written down to her satisfaction. Then the real problems started. 1. NO PORK of any kind. 2. The bar doesn’t open until 6:00 and we were there at 5:00. 3. Our appetizer of Crab Rangoon came with no Rangoon sauce, and no one seemed to know what that was. 4. My order of scallops in garlic sauce came to the table looking a lot like shrimp in garlic sauce. oops, she wrote it down wrong. Ten minutes after everyone else was served I finally got my meal. Two members of our table asked to have their dishes extra spicy. Both came with NO discernable heat or spice. This place has a LOT of catching up to do if they want to call themselves Imperial Dragon. They are NOT!
