Excellent good and service. El Chaton is a small place with an active to-go business. Pozole is served daily and it is excellent. The red salsa is hot. They offer large burritos, one is plenty for most. Their iced tea is good, ask for lemon. Your to-go order is kept warm until you arrive. They are not open on Mondays.

Food is not as good as it was before when it first started. Burritos have less filling as before… more tortillas then food. The asada meat is non seasoned and not cooked well the meat is hard to chew. The menudo is good but as said before it’s not filled like before, it’s so much less empty. I think this business needs to do better, I’ll be definitely going to El rodeo they just opened and have better presentation and seasoning, as well as good pricing.

The food here is amazing!! I am from Dallas and was shocked when i moved to Wichita Falls and could not find any authentic Mexican food until i came here! It felt like my mom’s cooking and although me & my husband went at an inconvenient time almost at closing, they were not rude but instead super nice and did not rush us to leave. I would definitely recommend this place!

First time I went in long time. Ordered burrito, and it was priced fairly, and was huge and excellent! Couldn’t eat it all, and ate rest later, just as good. I’ll go back next time I’m hungry for one!

Finally, Wichita Falls gets a Mexican grilled chicken joint. The chicken here comes out juicy, piping hot, and in copious amounts for not a lot of money. The burritos here are huge, tasty, and come on a freshly made tortilla. I’m seriously getting hungry just thinking about it, and I literally just got done eating my food from there.
