We believe in delicious breakfast, homestyle cooking by offering build-your-own omelettes, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. I was in town and found this place thanks to Yelp and Google. It’s a local, family diner. It has some booths and a large counter. Service was prompt and friendly. We both ordered omelettes. Waitress offered homemade jam – strawberry rhubarb, peach or blueberry. That was so good to add to my homemade biscuit. Omelette and potatoes were also very good. Numerous coffee refills. I even bought some homemade cookies for $1 each to take with me. Highly recommended!

My fiance and I love this place! The food is great and very reasonably priced and the staff is super nice and friendly. They make the BEST homemade potato chips and even have vegetarian options! It’s a great place to go if your looking for a convenient breakfast or lunch and some friendly faces!

Very homey and fun atmosphere. The food is delicious and you get huge servings! The pancakes were soft and hot and the gravy was so good. Real home cooking. The staff is fun as heck, definitely will be back!

From the tasty food to the sassy, take-no-BS ladies running the place, I love Jeanie’s! This spot is the most down home, authentic, made-with-love diner in town. I particularly like the homemade jalapeño sausage and the corn beef hash. This place is cheap too: breakfast specials start at only $6.50 for a 1/2 order of biscuits & gravy and two eggs plus coffee.

I didn’t know what to expect, but this was the best food. We had the best pancakes, hamburger and jalapeno sausage and mushroom skillet. It’s a drive for us but it’s so worth it, we’ll be back.

My partner LOVED her dish. It was fried chicken with sausage white gravy, hash browns, and toast. Note that she does not like sausage and didn’t realize she would be getting some on her chicken, but was pleasantly surprised.

ummm FLAME!!! every other diner in Michiana tastes the same. this is the first place i’ve been to in awhile that actually tastes legit home made. the potatoes are actually cut and fried, the gravy is made from scratch. made me tear up a little bit, reminded me of how my late grandma used to make her potatoes. WILL be back, with friends!

Great breakfast spot. The specials with coffee included are a really good deal, and the portions are large. Service was fairly quick despite only having 2 people running the show. Both the cook and the server were really great, fast service and great people skills. It is a tight squeeze however (small diner) so I would not recommend for large groups, which honestly to me is an attraction.
