They were busy..as usual, so service was expectedly slower than usual, but not an issue at all…the staff was super kind and still very attentive. The food was very very good and the portion was nice for lunch. We loved the views as well. Definitely a good spot to check out if in the area, make sure to make a reservation.

Wonderful experience at Cafe Flo today! Our server Diane was excellent and made our day! The food was delicious for our party of 4. Small but a varied/eclectic menu, with great vegetarian items and great specials. Wine and beer too. The view of the Lieutenant River is the icing on the cake. The grounds are fabulous. I will be back.

right off highway 95, this is a true gem. Its the cutest little museum restaurant, eat lunch on the veranda and you will often catch glimpses of people plein-air painting along the bank of the lieutenant river. So the atmosphere cant be beat, but Cafe Flo is also one of the best restaurants along the connecticut seashore. They have a lobster BLT which is delicious. Amazing salads, inventive specials, and good vegetarian options. We love their middle eastern platter, and a great kids menu with chicken fingers for our picky eater.

People sitting at tables and eating. We past two waiters on our way to sitting. Sat down at a table had two waiters pass us without saying anything. After 10 minutes I stood up found waiter and asked are you open and he said no we closed ahalf hour ago. Duh!
