Good sandwiches. We both felt they were the right size to be very filling but not feel overly stuffed after. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we wound up chatting with several of the patrons.

Amazing! One of my favorite places. I always get the turkey fiesta grinder with the bow thai pasta. Their homemade pasta salads and soups are AMAZING. The chicken chipotle is also a favorite of mine. This is a family run restaurant and always friendly staff! The catering is also a hit with the group

Stopped while traveling based on other reviews. We had a great experience here. Short wait for our order, maybe because it was a little later on Saturday. There is a large selection of sandwiches and salads. We got a sub and a grilled sandwich, soup, salad and a water. Both sandwiches were excellent and made as described. The chicken pot pie soup was pretty good too and it was hot. I hate cold or luke warm soup. The Caesar salad was …ok. I probably wouldn’t order that again. They put purple onions on it and the lettuce was a little tired. Overall, we liked it and would stop again if ever in the area. It’s a little off the exit area but the town looks quaint with a few small shops. Parking looks like it can be crowded. We did a couple of loops to find a spot.

This Deli has a huge option of sandwiches including the more familiar ones, to those in-house creations, such as my favorite, the Locomotive. It has ham, bacon, pepperoni, banana peppers, cheese, tomato, and some kind of secret sauce that makes my mouth very happy! They offer ‘pick-two’ combinations for lunch so you’re able to enjoy any two of the following: 1/2 of a sandwich you choose, a cup of soup, one of their side salad options, all at reasonable price/under $10! Today’s soups offered were Tomato Artichoke; Chicken and Rice with mushrooms; and Jambalaya. My sister and I tried the chicken and rice and Jambalaya soups, and they were quite tasty! They also have a punch-card which will enable you to get a free sandwich after 11(?) punches, so it pays to visit often! Check them out – if you’re not on the mood for sandwiches and soup, they have expanded their facility to include a pizzeria, which I’ve not tried yet, but heard others say it’s good!

Original review is below. Went from 4 star to 2. Food is still great. Wait times are usually a little long, but can deal with that. The last 3 times I have been in though I have been missing items from my order or my order was completely lost and I had to go back in to get the missing items or give my order completely over since it was lost. Like I said, great food, but be sure to check your order before you leave and make sure you get a receipt. Good food. Made while you wait. Great because it’s fresh, but you will have to wait a little longer to get food. Comparable to Panera on price and types of food( A little less expensive than Panera). Fresh soups daily and tons of salads and sandwiches to pick from. Peak times are busy with long waits, but well worth it.

The Red Pepper is always good. It’s a local business with a couple of locations. Sandwiches, homemade salads are good and no more expensive than the chains.
