First time being at this location. I got here 30 mins after they opened and was the first in line. The cashier wasn’t there, so the cook had to figure out the cash register, while more people were coming in. The cook managed it like a professional and the lines went smooth.

We stopped here on a whim as we were driving home to central IL from Chicago. We had THE BEST catfish ever! Everything was hot, delicious, crispy and wonderfully flavored. And the prices were very reasonable. We expected this to be a one-time only meal but we will figure out how to stop here again. Wonderful!

I ordered a 6 piece chicken wing. This comes with fries and 2 slices of bread on the side. I asked for lemon pepper so thats why the chicken has the seasoning. Overall, I think this place is clean and the service is excellent! I’m obsessed!

I absolutely love the food here! My brother is extremely picky with foods but it smelled so good that my brother gave it a try and ended up eating a full catfish fillet- gorging like he had never eaten before! The fries are sooo good and accompany most meals. I can’t say enough about the catfish! The owner is very kind, generous and accommodating. I got him once via phone when ordering and then met him in person – really lovely guy. This really isn’t a place to dine in. I saw loads of people (truly I stood holding the door open while waiting for my order ; for people carrying out trays of chicken and catfish on the weekend) I would likely do the same if I had a party. The food is incredible. Be prepared to be stuffed to the gills after eating their meal; big portions!

I ordered an italian beef and cheese fries online. Cheese fries are good but the italian beef was NOT enjoyable. Wasn’t served the traditional way with jalapeños peppers and onions and carrot instead it was 99% jalapeños and 1% carrot. Very garlicky and wet with jalapeño juice which made it SO SPICY!!!! The menu didn’t indicate that it would be served with only whatever the heck it came with. Disappointed and won’t eat here again :/

I’ve always thought about trying this place but passed it up. I’m so glad I decided to stop in today for my cheat day. I had the “pick two items” so I got two catfish filets and two chicken tenders. It was delicious and still hot when I got home and I live 10 minutes away. The catfish was CRISPY, juicy, and well seasoned. I also ordered a blue raspberry lemonade and it was pretty good as well. I was pleased by the fact that they let you put the lemon pepper on yourself too! Overall, I think this is a pretty good restaurant and I will be coming back. I might even like them better than—Babas

So I go to this place a lot for the family but yesterday’s experience ticked me off to the point I’m never going again. I go in & order a family meal which includes chicken & fish. I ask the lady at the register if she could separate the chicken from the fish because my 6yr old son is allergic to fish she said yes that would be fine. So finally my number is called & I noticed it’s only 1 pan. I ask so did they put everything in the same pan? Her response was yeah we really busy. I said but my son can’t eat that that’s why I ask to have it separated. She goes so you want it or not I said no I will like my money back. She gives me my money back but it was short by 3 dollars & gave me attitude because I caught her mistake. This place will not get another dime from me

Edit, December 2020: online ordering was a big miss. They never received my order, had to wait in the parking lot while they made it, and yet when I got home it was somehow cold. The past 3 times I’ve gone, the fish has been pretty bad, the breading was really wet. My fries were very cold and very soggy, tasted like the back of a freezer. I don’t think I plan on going back for a while.
