R and R is better than some bbq places. I tried a little bit of everything here. From brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and fries to chicken nuggets and Mac n cheese. The service was very friendly and I do like the option to poor my own bbq sauce because I am a sauce boss. The only thing I’d gripe about is that sometimes the brisket can be dry or full of fat. Overall, the food was excellent, and I’d definitely eat here again.

Just recently visited this evening excited to have brisket and was served the last of the meat that was so gross couldnt even eat any of it. I would not recommend eating here. Im so disappointed. The staff said that the meat isnt very good in the evenings and i wish we were told that before ordering. What a waste of time.

I stopped by after work and ordered a pound of Brisket. It was perfect. Moist and tender with very little fat. I dipped it in the barbecue sauce they gave me and it was incredible. Can’t wait to eat the rest for lunch today. Great job!!!!

Neither slowly smoked or quickly devoured. In fact the brisket was not devoured at all because it was dry as a piece of wood. Had super dry brisket here last time too but I wanted to give it another shot. Only reason I gave it 3 stars not zero is because it used to be really good brisket.

I got a two meat plate, if you want brisket you have 2.99 extra. The brisket was dry and plain, the chicken had good flavor just dry. The portions of brisket was very sad, this is a corporate company and charges extra for a certain side and barely gives you any.

This is my second chance to try this location. I travel all over the US for work and have been to many R&R branches loving each one. For some reason, this branch just can’t get it right. I ordered door dash this last time, and again they messed up the order, sending not what I ordered but replacing the meat with dry and burnt meat, soggy fried pickles that were falling apart and cold, and burnt hush puppies. When I tried to call them to correct the issue, I waited 15 for someone to answer to no avail. You’re failing Boise guys. Do better.
