had dinner and beverages today at this establishment. steak sandwich was tasty and i would purchase again. wet hotel burrito was great tasting also, and large portion. second time eating here this year and very pleased. dont remember servers name, but she was apologizing for having burnt some popcorn and the odor in the surroundings. nonetheless, she took care of the burnt mess and made a new batch and it was great. will return soon.

We typically have no issues with this place and enjoy Monday nights when Kids eat free. We are Auburn residents and enjoy the hometown feel. However tonight we came with our 3 children, they ordered cheese pizza off the kids menu and it came full of just sauce, no cheese. The waitress had it remade and it came back just as bad. I honestly didn’t want to pay for it as my kids didn’t eat it but I did because I understand making a living. Also, a “normal” at your bar, (older woman, dark hair) yelled at my 6 and 4 year old for playing around and walking faster then normal around the corner from the bathrooms. Then decided it was okay to confront me about my kids. She was lucky I didn’t give her an ear full. My kids are respectful in the restaurant and just behaving like normal kids coming back from the bathroom. Totally disrespectful.

Ordered take out today for Mother’s Day because that’s what Mom wanted. They took my order for 1 pizza and several sandwiches, FF’s, and appetizers. They told me 45 minutes, which was ok, I guess. We got there to pick it up and there was no food there to pick up. They didn’t make ONE item I ordered. No clue, no apology. SMFH. I’ve been going to that place since I was a kid (30ish years) I won’t be back. We went to Gimmick’s. Great food, great service. Too bad to see such a staple of Auburn go downhill like that!!

The food was edible but not enjoyable. I had the steak sandwich. It was simultaneously crispy and soggy, greasy and dry. Worst of all it lacked any flavor whatsoever. The service was fine but they need a new cook who knows what seasoning is.

I went to this place on my birthday after my stepson’s wrestling meet. They were very kind and even gave me a birthday shot. Everything is standard bar fare and very delicious. This out of the way place is really worth the trip.
