Were we told to get the best steak in Monroe we need to go to smithy. We knew it looked like an old school place but wow we didn’t realize how much of a nod to the 70’s it really was!! It was def “cozy” with all the windows closed and lit by fake lantern light. The food was good and portion size were good as well but it was very simple and didn’t have a lot of flavor. I guess I used to a modern style steak but if you are looking for a throw back restaurant this is definitely the place to go. The service was excellent and extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed

Man they really can cook a great steak there. Had the NY strip and it was cooked to perfection with a teriyaki glaze. I’m still dreaming about it now. Salad bar was also good. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a great dinner here with our family. Great service and great food, filet and shrimp were both excellent! Topped it off with a homemade brownie sundae!!

I have been to The Smithy two times since moving to Easton a few months ago. The Rib Eye steak was super tender and delicious! And the baked potato was just perfect. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The interior is a bit vintage but if you are looking for great flavor and strong value in a no-frills kind of way, The Smithy ROCKS!

By far, the finest restaurant that I have ever experienced. Been dining at the Smithy for over forty years! Consistently outstanding! I’ve recommended this institution to dozens of friends over the years. Highly recommend the surf & turf. Regards, Dave Howe

This place will bring back your fondest memories of a late 70’s/early 80’s steakhouse. The décor is kitschy rustic worthy of Bonanza (the TV show, not the steakhouse) complete with an old school salad bar (70’s wood basket looking bowls to boot!).
