My two buddies and I played golf nearby and were really hungry afterwards. Googled bbq and Hayesville Q came up so we drove by. We ordered Ribs and Pork Sandwiches and it was the best BBQ I’ve had long time. If you are nearby it’s a must try!!! 2 thumbs up!

Hayesville Q is owned by a man who came to Hayesville from Texas. I lived in Texas for 11 years and during that time I had some pretty dry, tasteless beef brisket. Hayesville Q’s brisket is divine. It’s smoky, moist, and tender. I’ve had it for lunch a couple of times, picked up a sandwich from his truck at Steins and Wine on the Square, and bought several pounds to serve to friends at a game night (I made sure I had enough for leftovers). His pulled pork is excellent, as are his sides. Hayesville Q is a very welcome addition to Hayesville.

Wife and I made a point to get to the market while Rodney was open – excellent idea because this is great Q! Brisket and pork were tender, moist and smoked well. Loved the potato salad too. We’ll be back for sure. Great prices too.

Loved the smoked brisket plate, with potato salad and coleslaw! The meat was tender and perfectly flavored. Nice place to enjoy the mountains of North Carolina and the farm life. We had a relaxing lunch on the porch overlooking the pastures.
