This is a cute family style kosher restaurant with a great atmosphere for a nice dinner with the family. Food is Persian and delicious. I ordered a combination platter with salads and cherry rice. I loved it and took some leftovers home. But most importantly my kids enjoyed it. I recommend giving this place a try. I will be coming back.

Love coming to Colbeh for their delicious food. They serve large portions and everything is always cooked to perfection. They start with a plate of flat bread with some pickled cabbage and peppers and rice with lentils . For a group of 6 we got 4 appetizers including the babaganoush which is so creamy, the morraccan cigars-a group favorite (meat eggroll fried to perfection), the hearts of palm salad and stuffed grape leaves. We then got kebab koobihed white which is ground chicken skewers paired with the green dill rice, the kebab sultani (prime beef and ground beef skewers) paired with the sweet orange rice and lastly the kebab barg of prime beef skewers paired with white rice. The prime beef was juicy, grilled perfectly and just melted in your mouth. Dessert was shared among the group including lava cake, dulce de Leche and chocolate moose. Prices are reasonable/cheap considering the portions and the servers are attentive. They also have outdoor seating.

We called for a table for two and drove 45mins and they said you can just walk in. There were tables available but the owner said there’s no table for a party of 2 and that this restaurant is only meant for big group tables which made no sense because there were groups of 2 sitting at there were small tables so we sat at the bar but wanted a table. He we’re guessing and telling us u guys look like from that country this country with the wrong idea judging with look and color . made up excuses that we couldn’t sit on a table. We left in disappointment.

Great ambiance in upper class Roslyn heights, including excellent food and great service with a smile . You can expect everything you ask for at Colbeh Roslyn and more . Healthy delicious options and the finest chicken or cuts of meat including the only rice any fine restaurant should serve ,called Basmati, as well as real brewed tea ( no tea bag nonsense ) .Believe it or not it’s actually fairly priced including complimentary Tadig which is a meal in itself, Pickles the finest lavash breads as well as fruit all complimentary.

My wife and I came for dinner on a Thursday night around 5:30pm. Not sure where to park I pulled up tot he front door to ask and the GM told me top park right in the front VIP no problem :). It was a bit chilly but they did have a mild heat source. The service from all the staff was exceptional but to be fair there were only 3 parties seated at the time including ourselves. We ordered drinks to start and it was very good and strong. We skipped the appetizer and went straight for dinner which included a Pre Dinner that was delicious and filling. When the huge main course arrived we could not eat much but we ordered the dinner for 2 which was 3 different rices and 3 meats. The appetizers were very tatsy, and maybe we shouldn’t have ordered steak at a place that doesn’t specialize in it, but we did, at least 10 of them, all medium, medium well, some rare, they all came out well done. I mean, how hard could it be to cook a steak for a restaurant chef? Instead of juicy, soft steaks we got dry, burnt meat. Honestly I started this off as a 3 star review, but the more I think about this dinner the more I remember about how bad the steak was. You might as well have served us a tire to chew. It was inedible. I’ll give an extra star because its not as bad as the Colbeh in Great Neck.

Excellent place. The food is very fresh and delicious. The place is a cozy little house, very clean, and the service was outstanding. We passed on dessert which took a lot of willpower because they looked amazing. Not sure about the wine selections but they have a full bar. Give it a shot you’ll love it.
