The food was really delicious, and I would recommend getting the spicy chicken and soy pork steak. Couldn’t get enough of those! The bar staff was kind enough to make our drinks non-alcoholic, we got to enjoy our soju cocktails. Our server Jacob was also very nice and attentive. Even when the place was getting busy, he constantly checks on our table and made sure that everything was refilled. Looking forward to coming back here again!

The food was good. For some of the raw ones be sure to add salt and pepper. The marinated ones were good. We tried brisket, steaks, spicy pork, shrimp and squid. They were all awesome. The drink service was a bit slow as there was only 1 bartender on Friday evening. Other than that, great atmosphere and great food and drinks. Try the Soju instead of the Saki bomb. And for the side, try the egg custard. It’s good.

This was my first visit and I was not impressed. I didn’t get the concept that I pay $36 to actually cook my own food. And it wasn’t even good food! The best part of my meal was the steamed white rice . Everything else, including the salad, was spicy and therefore unenjoyable for me. Unless you like living like a “Survivor”, don’t eat here!!

Loved the bulgogi, spicy rice cakes. Shrimp was a pain. Have to peel, degrade etc. cooked it first and it was too hot to peel. Pork belly was delicious. Mahlana our server was super helpful. K-pop music is low enough to chat and cook and eat and had a blast. It got busy fast so get here earlier than later.

Four of us had an subpar experience at this location. From the start, we were brought out the side dishes that could not even feed 1 person. There were 1 piece of pink radish and 3 pieces of pickle radish. How embarrassing! Considering Halcyon is a nice area, the service is sloppy and inattentive. Unlike most Korean bbq restaurants where the waiters or waitresses help you to cook the proteins, we did that ourself. Toward the end of our meal, there was a fly on one of the side dishes, which caught us off guard wondering how clean the establishment is. We hope these issues will be noticed by the management team so this location won’t cause more damage Iron Age’s reputation.

Great place for parties and large groups. Our server Rachel was very informative and helpful. Even though we had never eaten at a Korean BBQ place, she really helped us understand the best combinations and ways to cook the meat. Great atmosphere and an all around great experience. Will definitely come again with a group of friends.
