Went to Terrell’s last night. I’ve ordered from them many times over the years and I’m usually very happy. Last night I ordered a half slab with sauce on the side. Also, cold slaw, which again they had none. I paid with cash and tipped. When I got home and opened the container we were shocked. Maybe one third of the ribs were good. The rest were empty bones, small charred pieces of ribs and pieces of skin. I don’t like writing bad reviews. Mr. Terrell is a very good man. I doubt he knows this is happening. I think his employees really don’t care. Sadly, I doubt I will return. They used to be a really good place. One star is more then they deserve for last night. Very disappointed.

Deserves a full 5 stars. I ordered the rib dinner which was unctuous, smokey and flavorful. It was described as 6 bones but actually, the Pitmaster has chosen to split the full spareribs lengthwise in half, a thick rib with a bone in the middle and a thinly slicer rib without the bone. Very interesting technique. I love these thin rib morsels.

I usually have a great experience at Terrell’s. But today I can’t say that, the ribs are burnt and tough. Who serves someone burnt ribs? Like really! I could never! I strongly suggest you check your food before you leave. I didn’t today and now I’m writing this review. Lesson learned! $16 WASTED.

Best ribs I’ve ever eaten…. tender as can be, almost no bone, a perfect balanced sauce, and a piece of white bread at the bottom to sop up anything left over!!! I had the baked beans with mine, and I gotta say they were much better than Sonny’s

Not good. 5 stars for the tenderness of the ribs, but Greens were bitter(taste like greens from a can), bbq sauce on ribs were too tangy, Mac and cheese just wasn’t right. No southern style to this at all.

I was up in Gainesville yesterday & wanted BBQ for lunch ! What a find, I Googled Q-restraurants & Terrells was one that popped up ! It said best bbq in Gainesville so I headed that way & I’m damn glad I did ! Had ribs, chicken mac & cheese w/ potato salad & a can of Coke ! My whole meal was so killer old school Q ! Without a doubt the best Southern Q I’ve ever had !!!!!! Go get ya some, you’ll thank me later !

Very friendly, expect a wait they are normally busy. Ribs are the most tender ive ever had. They make there own sauce so it is always a surprise smokey sweet or tangy.
