Different cheesesteak #1063 in the last five years. The best thing about this cheesesteak was that I took it to Wilmington Brew Works. I want to love Jack’s. This cheesesteak was standard. $10.50’ish, i don’t hate that. Jack’s (Elsmere) has a customer bathroom, I love that.

Country Maid has been around forever…there are reasons for that. They make THE BEST SANDWICHES AND SUBS!!! The staff is always friendly and quick to serve. The quality of food is very high and will cost a little more, but we’ll worth it. I never miss a chance to get an Italian sub with everything. Will absolutely keep coming back!!

I love this place. I drive from Newark just to come to them! On top of my subs always being AMAZING (I always get fresh turkey) the staff is so kind!! We got dinner from them last night, and it was so good I went back tonight. While we were there my 3 year old was getting ansty so we let him out of his car seat. Somewhere through this he lost my old phone he plays with (old iPhone). We didn’t realize til we got home. I called to see if we could check the parking lot. The lady who answered the phone wasted no time going out and walking around the parking lot looking for the phone DURING THEIR SUPER BUSY DINNER RUSH! Although the phone was not there, she was SO FRIENDLY AND KIND and took my info in case someone turned it in. We ended up finding the phone and I did call to let them know but she was so sweet for even taking time to look. I live within a 8 minute drive to 3 other Country maids but I will ALWAYS drive the 20 minutes to this one because of the service! Thank you!

This is a business I love supporting. Locally owned and operated, pleasant staff and great sandwiches – especially breakfast. But they are also a convenient stopping place along Kirkwood Hwy for the quick purchase of eggs, milk, bread or ice cream, etc. You can also buy your lottery tickets here! I’m a total fan of this place!

Food was great. A lady working had a major attitude problem because I ordered the chicken salad, they were out and a young man working said he would make it. She wouldn’t even take my order she only wrote down my fiances order. Then she couldn’t take my order once it was done. Sent the nice young man to take my order and do everything else as well. She just overall was not a friendly person and if that’s her attitude, customer service is not for her.

I stopped in this location of Jack’s Country Maid Deli (Elsmere) for water. There was a brand on sale which were 39 cents each or 3 for one dollar. It was 9:00 am and there was one cold bottle of water in the fridge. It was disappointing the fridge was not restocked with those bottles of water at that hour. The woman at the counter was friendly. Only 4 stars since I could not get all cold bottles of water.
