They make decent malts (the only real malt option around), the dogs are good. Unfortunately, Customer Service isn’t much of a thing here (summer job at a fast food stand without real direction,) but that seems to be OK. The business could stand to modernize certain aspects which could greatly improve the customer experience and likely improve overall business. Case in point, Bob’s does not publish up to date business hours online. We’ve found it’s best just to stop and get a malt when you’re passing by and see they’re open rather than planning to cross the lake in hopes that they’ll be open…they won’t be.

Food is good, if a little bland. No dine in space, which would be nice when it’s too hot. Food was way too expensive for what it was. The Le Mars location is a much better experience.

Kevin, you should be proud of your son Miles… we witnessed a customer complaint today, Miles sat down to listen, offered them a sandwich to take home (which they refused) and then a certificate to come back another time! Miles was extremely polite and professional with them!! Keep up the great work!

Terrible food and customer service. After spending $40 for my family of 4 on boiled hotdogs, the manager (presumably) came out in a fit of rage because my child had her water bottle on the table. Water bottles are strictly forbidden, punishable by the bulldog behind the grill.

Would not recommend. No customer service. What a circus. The kids taking orders can’t seem to get the whole order correct. Wait times for fried food and hotdogs are about 20-25min. They are charging people for ketchup on food. Be careful ordering chicken strips. They say the small order has 3 strips. It’s actually 2 small strips cut in half. The guy inside the stand (assuming the manager) his response to me asking for my third chicken strip was: “ I cut them in half to make sure that they are cooked and that is what I count as three strips”. The guy didn’t acknowledge the fact that his workers made a mistake and did not want to rectify any issue on their part. Disappointed to say the least.

They have no hours listed on FB and on Google they have summer hours posted. Wasn’t until we got there that we saw signs for fall hours. Update Google or use some kind of social media to let customers know. To be honest I’ll not be coming back to try again. Looked like a good change from Spillway and a few other places that have OK ice cream.
