Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

I have been to this location twice after walking over the GWB and once driving. Staff are excellent at what they do. Restaurant very clean and well managed. The only one thing I don’t like is that the manager doesn’t allow the staff to make more of the Rosemary bread, so if you come after 8pm you should expect only white bread

I did everything I could to give this place a chance. The first red flag should’ve been the way the 3 employees were piled on top of each other all trying to do the same job. Another big issue was the way the receipts were placed inside sandwiches which has to be some sort of health code violation.

Speaking The Truth
We had our first experience a week ago and it was amazing!! It was during the week before 2pm and the staff were so pleasant, helpful, kind, and very welcoming. We decided to go today again on a Sunday. BIG MISTAKE!!!! The staff were not welcoming at all, no hello, no smiles, and they looked miserable. It was a young guy and a young girl and honestly we felt as if we were bothering them. The guy was unprofessional and had this disturbed look when I asked to cook

This Jersey mikes was my first time ever going. I really enjoyed it, the workers were very welcoming to you. In there it’s like your family there. It’s like they really know each customer who comes in from what I saw. The manager Hamp was really cool and chill. And the sandwiches i got were REALLY DELICIOUS. But hands down the best thing there is the Philly cheese steak I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT to anyone. I can’t explain it you just have to try it. And I let them all know how good that Philly cheese steak was too.

They close at 9pm and they start cleaning at 7:45pm unheard of. I can understand cleaning 20 mins prior closing but an hour before closing?? chairs up, wet floor and people walking on slippery floor while conducting business. Big liability. A kid, I believe a wanna be manager, not trained and has no understand of restaurant management argues with customer to justify wrong doing, makes no effort to accommodate customers and argues with customer. Unbelievable. I was going there at least two to three times a week. They lost a customer for good because of mismanagement.
