Ordered a medium smoked turkey breast sandwich on the app like I normally do. Order was suppose to be ready at 12:00. Arrived at 12:10. Walked over with my roommate which also ordered, his pickup was for 12:05. His food was ready to go. As I sit and wait for my food to finish, or I think my food is being made. One of the guys behind the register asked if I have an online order. I told him yes, showed him my app on the phone with my order. He then says we don’t have an order for that name. “Are you sure you ordered at the right place. Show him my phone.

As we got in line behind behind 1 customer one of the employees that were standing doing nothing reminded the cashier that there was a person on the phone on hold for a call in order. She then picked up the phone to take the call in order with 4 customers in line. The cashier was taking a call in order and there 2 other employees doing nothing. There was a line of people at the register. After about 15 minutes in line one of the other employees finally opened the second register and at that point there were 6 more people in line. At least the food was good after waiting.

My hubby’s favorite sandwich place in town. I always get the hook and ladder and chips. The employees are always kind and helpful. We like to buy their red pickle buckets, because everyone needs a red 5 gallon bucket.

That Hook & Ladder! Don’t mess around and get a small, because even though you will be stuffed after eating the medium, it will be worth it. Since Covid, the fun hot sauces have not been out for you to choose from, but if you ask the helpful folks behind the counter, they will give you their sweet and spicy hot sauce concoction, and it is so good! Clean dining room and restrooms, and a few outside tables for pretty weather days.

The food was great, the atmosphere was comfortable, plenty of seating. The service was quick, the young lady taking my order was polite but almost making fun of me, like I was stupid for asking questions & I didn’t appreciate that. Besides that, the rest of the employees were very nice & polite. The mannerism from the young man who made my order, made me feel appreciated. Highly recommended place to eat for me!

The sandwiches that we ordered were huge and were made as we waited. The ingredients were fresh and very tasty. The employees were a delight. They were very friendly and attentive. It was service with a smile all around. I highly recommend this particular Firehouse Subs if you’re in the area and have an appetite for a well made sandwich
