Great place to eat breakfast if you’re at Atlantic Beach. Very friendly service. Great omelettes. The only thing I feel could be better is if they allowed vegetable substitution for hash browns. My sister thought this was the most amazing omelette she’s ever eaten! (The boss’s omelet). It was good. very casual. Wear your shorts!

Obviously a local lunch stop as the waitress seemed to know everyone who walked in. I ordered a chef salad and it arrived gorgeous and delicious! A full bowl of lettuce was topped with heaps of crisp bacon, grilled chicken, tomato, sliced avocado and a quartered boiled egg. All this topped with a tangy dressing was a yummy lunch and very filling. The down side, the service was really slow, we waited to place or order and waited to pay our check. Not being a local, I didn’t have the luxury of extra time and I felt a bit dismissed by the waitress as twice I had to ask for service and was told to wait. No doubt, the food was great… service, not so much.

Very friendly staff! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the wait staff was very nice. There’s a nice menu to choose from, including kid friendly menu items. Our food was out quickly! We would recommend!

We were excited to try this place but I was pretty disappointed. First of all there’s no AC which is very surprising in comparison to other places in the area. The service also wasn’t great- they were friendly but took so much effort to get their attention and had to ask a few times where our food was because it took so long. We waited so long for a toasted bagel (that wasn’t even good) and a simple breakfast dish (the fish was apparently very good).

Discovered Ellen’s on a work trip this week. Went two days in row. The restaurant is cheerfully decorated, and the staff are attentive and friendly. I was immediately waited upon my arrival. The coffee was amazing – I am usually a coffee house coffee girl, so this is high praise!. The food arrived quickly, and hit the spot. I asked for extra crispy bacon, and it arrived perfectly. I loved watching all the locals arrive in their groups; this must be the breakfast hot spot! Will definitely return when I travel back to this area. It may only be breakfast, but you will be well taken care of at Ellen’s!
