I was excited to try this Black-owned restaurant and the food did NOT disappoint. Everything we ordered – Shrimp & Grits, Lamb & Grits, Red Velvet Waffle, The Big Chic, Mac & Cheese, and Yams – was Delicious! For first-timers, it’s helpful to know that you order your food and grab your own utensils at the counter before sitting down. The wait time to receive our food was fairly short. The service was friendly and everyone was helpful when we had questions. The atmosphere during my visit was just okay. It’s a pretty casual set-up and there are a couple of backdrops set up for photos. About 20 minutes before we left, they started playing music, which improved the atmosphere right away. It’s a little pricey, but the food is delicious enough that I’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I decided to come here today on a Tuesday to celebrate our anniversary and it was not busy. When you go in, you order your food then choose a place to sit and they will bring your food to you. The food was so good! I ordered the biscuit and gravy and my husband got the milk and honey biscuit. I have to say that was the best sausage gravy I’ve ever had. Even my husband said it was really good and he doesn’t like sausage gravy. We also ordered the catfish & grits and the Seafood Sensation. Everything was so delicious! The food came out quick and service was great. Will definitely return and try some other things from the menu.

The place was nice, casual, clean, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. My daughter ordered the Chicken and Biscuits meal which was yummy. I got side orders of 2 crab cakes and fried green tomatoes, which I couldn’t eat. The crab cakes were chewy, salty, and did not look or taste like crab. The tomatoes were cut too thick to get cooked, and laid on top of a surprisingly spicy sauce, they gave me packaged cups of Ranch and Blue Cheese dressing as an alternative dipping sauce. I ate some of my daughter’s meal and brought mine to my mom. She’s like Mickey, she’ll eat anything

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Service was a plus. Our waitress was polite, professional, and very accommodating. The food was very well seasoned, delicious, and wonderfully plated. Our table had the Crab Cake Benedict, the Southside Fried Fish and Grits, Hash Brown, and the Northside Fish Biscuit. I have one regret though. I wish I’d ordered the fried green tomatoes!!! No worries…. I’ll be back!! I highly recommend Milk and Honey. I had an AMAZING meal..

I visited Milk and Honey for a Friends Birthday and this place was a pleasant surprise. The portion size was huge and I couldn’t eat it all myself. The staff was friendly and just when I was ready to say food was taking long the smells of my plate was on my table and rrady for me to eat. Ill definitely have to visit again because they had so many options I wanted to eat everything. Look at me u before going if Hungary cause you’ll order a to go plate for later. I would recommend visiting this place!

There aren’t enough stars on the review to let you know how GOOD the food is. I came in and ordered the smothered steak. The gravy on the steak was so delicious and I could cut through the steak with a butter knife. Hashbrowns were cooked perfect and were not overly greasy. Mac and cheese was spot on. Sweet tea was great but I got so full off my food I could only drink one cup.

I don’t think I’ve had this good of food in a long time. I’ve been 3 times now and each time was excellent, I recommend the French toast and waffles personally. My sister also says this place is top tier and it’s our favorite spot to go on a day off. Service is great, staff is very friendly, place is very clean!

The food was absolutely delicious! I the honey butter biscuit (in the middle)so soft and warm. The perfect mix of honey and butter. I had the seafood sensation. Everything perfectly seasoned and well proportioned. No water available. Only menu drinks and bottled water. My friend had the key lime and classic waffle. Milk & Honey definitely satisfied my sweet tooth with the Strawberry Lemonade, Signature Milk & Honey Biscuit, and the Half & Half Red Velvet & Key Lime Waffle. They had the nerve to add a slice of Key Lime pie on the Half & Half Waffle and OMG that took my tastebuds to another level. The Seafood Hash was packed with flavor. Husbae enjoyed his Salmon & Grits and Red Velvet waffle.
