I recommend this soul food spot. Turkey dry. Oxtail are well seasoned and cooked, pork chops cooked to perfection. You have to try the fruit punch and lemonade mixed. It gives auntie cookout vibes.

In my search for good home made soul food, I came across My brothers soul food. First of all the aroma of the food hits you as soon as you walk through the doors. At that point I had a feeling that I was at the right spot. Sure enough I was greeted by a gentleman at the register who attentively welcomed us and took our order. We ordered the smothered pork chops, macaroni and cheese, and greens and smothered turkey wings. The food was absolutely delicious and the service is fast and friendly. For desert we had the chocolate cake which was moist and delicious. Overall a great experience and amazing soul food. I will be returning again, no doubt! Give this black owned business a chance, you will definitely not be disappointed. Thanks for the great food and experience today 1/8/22

Update: went back and got an turkey wing dinner. I asked the young nice lady sharing the food if they had yellow rice she insisted me that they only have white rice but the turkey wings gravy turns the rice into yellow rice. I was much confused. Thought this was soul food but it tasted ok, it was seasoned. But definitely Saźon season. Not a soul food dish. And not enough meat for the price. Not at temperature awful candy yams. I don’t live in this area. I wanted to support a black business And when I got there the atmosphere wasn’t as I thought. On the menu my meal said it would be 22.99 but when I looked at my receipt It was 29.99 charging me extra for me to end up with Orange turkey wings and dry chitterlings Never again will I’ll be coming here?

The amount you pay for a turkey dinner is not worth it. They cut up the turkey flat part in half and give you the tip. The Mac and cheese was watery. When I spoke to the owner about my experience he told me he would give me a replacement of what I wanted but that was not true. I bought two dinners one turkey and one fish.
