We were in Cali for our son’s football tournament and had our fill of tacos for the day, and wanted some seafood. Physically the space is a tiny little joint, mayyybe 8 tables total, so naturally there was a bit of a wait for our party of 6, but it was worth the wait.

What can I tell you about this restaurant? We just can’t stay away from it. We’ve been coming for some time now whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We recently tried their shrimps a la DIABLA fries n omg they are amazing. They are full of flavors n a kick on spicy at the end. The Menudo sells out every weekend. Perfect for la cruda or simply to get your day started right. The parillada is so delicious too. It comes loaded with bacon-wrapped shrimps,grilled octopus, grilled bass n another dish that has shrimp.

This place came up as a great spot that you should try, I made the drive out and parking is hard. There are only a few spots, not the restaurants fault of course, then we went it to put our name on the list. We waited, and waited and waited, after one hour and a half we asked and we were next (so they said). Three hours later and we never got called, never got asked anything. You have to wait outside, there is no waiting area and the worst part is that they don’t even check on you while you are waiting. I guess becuase it was 100 degrees, it would of been nice to have water offered or given an update on the wait time but none of that happened. This is not bad review on the food, becuase we did not even get to try it this is a review on the experience and the non customer service that we experienced, I hope that your experience is better!

An amazing seafood experience, if i didnt tastes it i wouldn’t be able to tell you how delicious it was, stuffed lobster, and red snapper ala diabla with flavors so rich i could never replicate. Amazing food, almost felt like i was at a restaurant in a Ritz-Carlton hotel restaurant. 5 stars all around. The sauces have all the flavors you can imagine, the fish was properly cooked all the way through, the stuffed lobster was fantastic and the beans and rice were properly done, no dry rice no runny beans, all were delicious. I would recommend to all who like good mariscos.

Amazing food!! Found restaurant on Tik Tok and had to come by. Had the Avocado ceviche bowls and AMAZING! No need to drive over the border for good ceviche. My boyfriend ordered the Surf N Turf burrito and it was huge. (Homemade tortilla) could only eat half. Def coming back. Our server was so nice and patient. Place is very clean and welcoming. (Sorry no pics) I was hungry lol

I want to sincerely thank Joe for being my host on my first visit at his family’s restaurant. I tried the shrimp cocktail with oysters, octopus for the first time and wow I am so impressed and blown away how phenomenal it was. I will never ever go to another seafood restaurant around in the valley unless I come here. The carne asada was so juicy and tender and cooked to perfection as well as the rice and beans. I am extremely pleased and thankful for this delicious food. Keep up the hard work and continue to make everyone smile thank you once again.

I’ve seen this restaurant in Instagram and also in TikTok. Finally got the time to come and visit. Yo the seafood here is made to order so if you dine in? Bring something to pass the time, or just order ahead of time and take it home. The place is small so it’s your safest bet. The wait staff are extremely nice and friendly. You will get your money’s worth here and i hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
