Totally lacking customer service! A resident of East Haven for 20 years and have never ordered here before and now i know why. chicken and pork ordered was extremely chewy and fatty, inedible. Called to see if exchanging food was an option and they were completely unwilling to help. Lesson learned.

China One restaurant has been the #1 consistent thing in my life for years. It always makes me feel so safe when they call back, even if they missed the call, especially since I have been going through a bad breakup recently. This my dog nephew and he woofs the spare ribs down like his mom. Him and I order often before crying on the couch. This place is the egg to my roll, the moo to my shoo. Only complaint is changing the building from blue to yellow.

I really like this place. The food is usually excellent. I don’t normally order beef dishes, but tonight I was in the mood for sesame beef. I was a little bit surprised because it was more like sesame bread crumbs. There was no meat that I could find, or it was so ground up and mixed in with the filler that it was the flavor wasn’t terrible but it certainly was not what I was expecting. I guess I’ll just have to stick to chicken.

The owner is very rude customer service was terrible. I was told my order would take 40 minutes it got to my house 75 minutes later my order was also wrong, but we decided to give them another try. The woman asked my daughter to put the drivers tip on her card, and said if she’s not willing to do that we should tell her how much we were going to tip the driver. I called back spoke to the owner and received the same kind of disrespect. this is outrageous. I will never order from here again.

Goat service… goat food….. the fried rice and chicken wings is a good portion for what your paying for and they are always consistent with the food… it’s not like other places where other days it taste good and other days it taste bad…. This place is always honest with the food when you try it with the first time that’s how it gonna stay… and the food is BANGINGGGGGGG

Moved here in Branford 5 years ago, in that time I could find NO decent Chinese food. I didn’t want to drive to downtown New Haven and try to find parking on Chapel St. so what the hell let me try the only place that I didn’t try yet. China One. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken combo, the menu said it cost $9.85 but they charged me $13.60, did sales tax go up and they forgot to tell me?? The pork eggroll was nothing buy cabbage and flex of pork, very chewy, had a hard time biting in to it. No flavor to it. The rice was on point and so was the chicken, the sauce was really hot and spicy tho. I never had it that hot. I’m going to try this place again just NOT ordering anything spicy. I have hope in this place!!!! I’m an optimist

This is the best Chinese restaurant in East Haven. Been ordering from them for years now and it’s always fresh and well cooked. The owner is so sweet and her kids are so polite and helpful. One time they didn’t have a delivery driver so we ordered from someone else, we realized then how delicious, fresh and well made their food is! Please visit them you won’t regret it!

customer service poor. I’ve been a customer over 6 years and this was the worst service after being so loyal. called after i realized i had a sandlike substance in my food. they offered to give me a 3 dollar credit initially…it gets worse…stop having your child handle adult matters. learn to treat customers better.
